She _could_ have moved onto more deep and profound material that would have better suited her stature in pop culture. Instead, we ended up with grillz, Instagram, and "B*t*h, I'm Madonna." Sigh.

In terms of talent I think Cher is a better actress , and Madonna is a better dancer , in terms of singing, they both have unique and distinctive voices but I prefer Chers voice , it has more longevity

I listen to Cher's voice and enjoy some songs 100 %, but every note, every vocal pitch she hits, to my ear, blends into a monotone after a while ; Madonna, however has a voice that is so pretty and warm and has the ability to add tones, depths, subjects and emotions that my ear enjoys listening too, more often. I prefer to watch every film that Cher has acted in and I think I have seen most of them, off the top of my head , Come Back to the 5 and dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, being a fave.
