FINALLY!!!! Someone creates a video on YT about GFN and this new Chromecast! Tx u :) Sorry, english isn't my 1st language so just to be sure : you tested xCloud on it? The Microsoft's streaming service works on it? If yes it's cool. Which one works better : GFN or xCloud? If my english skills are not too bad it's GFN, right? Could you test Shadow PC on it? And just because you're the 1st video I saw on this subject I follow :D
Shadow is officially supported too but I had to remote install it...🤦 App store needs a lil polish but a legitimate entry level device for cloud gaming. Especially for the price 👍
I have an rtx 2060 and i do comparisons of them. More videos in that coming soon once i catch up. The rtx 2060 beats Shadow boost especially if you have a good cpu. It definitely beats stadia as stadia gets console versions of games not pc. I love Stadia but they have a ways to go on the game graphics amd optimization but they are getting there. GFN is running pc versions of games and can run them very well with high to ultra settings most the time. GFN has ray tracing and dlss as well. So the rtx 2060 runs games better locally cause you can use a high refresh monitor at 1080 1440 and get a very low latency low input lag experience not possible from any cloud service at this time. But visually gfn now be on par to sometimes above an rtx 2060 but of course still 1080p 60 and streamed. So that should answer tour question. It all depends on your needs and what you want. Theres great optiona for everyone. Im here to help figure them out.
Just recently bought CCwGTV for GFN and Stadia and I'm pretty disappointed. It doesn't have the best wifi chip and seems like same goes for bluetooth. It would occasionally show connection icon with packet loss within GFN, when all other devices run without an issue at all. That's while CCwGTV is 50cm away from the router and what separates them is not to thick brick wall. But what was much worse, is the controller delay using DS4 v2 both in GFN and Stadia. Overall much worse compared to me just taking my laptop and connecting to the TV and using the same controller over bt for Stadia or GFN, or CCU. So really idk what to think of this device, maybe should've gotten Shield TV instead.
Nice vid mate! What controller are you using with this Chromecast Google TV? Any BT controller should work? And, another question, max resolution on GFC, Stadia and Xcloud is 1080p right? Thanks ;)
Mist Bluetooth should work. I used one of my xbox controllers. Everything 1080p except Stadia which is 1080p on the free but the laid pro will do 1440 and 4k stream.
Hi, thank you for that video. I have a question: What could be the problem why xcloud xbox game pass freezes after few minutes on my chromecast with google tv? I have internet connection over 100 mbit/s! The picture freezes, but I can hear that the game is still running. Also, for that little amount of time when it does not freeze the steering lags, but I thank that could be the bad gamepad. Thank you
I have only player a small amount of google tv with GFN. It seemed to work pretty well but I need to check it out again. Working on a cloud gaming video for the google tv as well.
HowToPeelAClementine shield tv pro by far. Better smoother stream, latency similar maybe better on shield. Also the shield pro has ai upscaling now on gfn and it works amazing. Bit also shield tv pro 200.00 and the new Chromecast 50.00. But if budget isnt and issue go for a shield tv pro its an amazing box
For me is absolutely amazing for cloud gaming. There is no cloud service yet that can match lical hardware but Stadia and GFN have come along way and most games are more then playable.
I've tried gforce now with rocket League, played great for about 2 or 3 games then got graphic mess up then the Chromecast starts to reboot , but doesn't complete loading so have to disconnect from power then reconnect, does this every time.
Are you using the power adapter or plugged directly into your TV via USB? The chromecast requires more wattage than what a usb slot can provide. :) You can also buy an ethernet adapter for the new chromecast, it's wonderful!
@@gadgetuk48 I'm from the UK so I'm using the UK power adapter. I only got my chromecast yesterday, perhaps their is an update since you posted the comment?

Thank you. And yes i am making another video testing cloud pc’s like Shadow next

I was able to install from the google play store. I have another video coming for the cloud pc’s on this device and others. Also. Whats up Capricorn
Shadow works with this device? Oh man I know what I'm grabbing the chromecast for now
Same here with me on the Shield TV....
Can you test steam in home streaming? I know it’s probably fine would just love more options!
Im going to do another cloud video with this chromecast ill add it on to the list
How you connect keybord/mouse/pad ? Into chromecast itself?
You can get a solid adapter for it yeah

hi Does google tv also freeze ge forcenow, does it play with full support like nvdia shield tv pro or does it freeze because it is beta?

Do you have to have a Xbox for playing games on Xbox cloud gaming app in Google tv please tell
You don't need an Xbox.
Where can i download Game pass and Geforce now bro?
Gfn is on the google store and officially supported. Xcloud is sideloaded using the downloader app I believe its shown in the video.
Great video review.
Thank you. Surprised by just how good a little streaming device this is.
Between the shield tv and the google tv, which one do you think runs GFN better? (Quality & latency)

@@GameTechPlanet is shield tv pro worth the upgrade over shield tv?
Can i reach 4k resolution in Stadia? Do you think that is batter Google TV o Chromecast Ultra?
Stadia is not on google tv officially so it def works better on the ultra and has hdr
Thanx for your answer....di you think that in the future Google TV will supporto Stadia with 4k?
They did say that support for Stadia on google tv is supposed to come spring 2021 but will see. Hopefully
Can you try using in home streaming apps like steam link or parsec?
Yea i have some more videos coming on this device. Been abit busy catching up.
How's the latenecy on gfn? Is it noticeable? Or even hard to play?
For me is absolutely amazing for cloud gaming. There is no cloud service yet that can match lical hardware but Stadia and GFN have come along way and most games are more then playable.
Do i need google tv use chromecast
I like to see shadow run on this
You will. Videos coming soon
How is latency while playing gfn ? Is "elite dangerous" supported therr
I always have good luck with GFN. It does well on this device. I feel as though it runs a bit better on the shield tv pro but still good
@@GameTechPlanet any chance that could improve ? Are they updating this ?
Can you show moonlight decode latency?
Are multiple controllers supported ?
So far ive used, keyboard and mouse, xbox controller and a ps4 controller
@@GameTechPlanet are you able to use them at the same time meaning. Can you play two player games like street fighter
@@ibrahimahmed1996 I'd really like to know as well!
It shouldnt be a problem depends on software not so much hardware
