Sincerely Kyosho I love you for making these Fazer cars… They are so beautiful and such a blast of fun to drive… Even the chassis looks so good except one détail to me : the steering big bumps limiters but hey that’s nothing. And imagine putting a full light kit on those…!!!…. Haaaaa if I had the money I would like to buy absolutely all of them. So satisfying the car guy I am…
I purchased the Datsun 240Z a week or so ago as it was on special, Kyosho make great looking cars, they run well too. I was so impressed I got the Datsun240Z R version which arrives today. I wish I could afford more as they are such nice cars and I think I've enough TT-02's, although I miss the build you get with the TT-02, that's so much a part of the fun. Great video highlighting a nice looking and running car.
As an Rx3 owner i was pumped to see the release of another jdm classic but after watching this video I've changed my mind. I would have only brought the body shell anyway as i have no use for a Kyosho Fazer. Unfortunately after seeing the body post holes and those molding lines in the rear quarters and front guards it's put me off. With the ABC version of the rx3 coupe being around for ages and the new Pandora rx3 station wagon release Kyosho could have done a better job. Obviously this is a pre painted rtr body for the masses but the whole point of a licensed body is to be accurate to the real car. Kyosho have done a great job but it seems the more you look the worse it gets.
Yeah, the motor will definitely fit. If the ESC is too wide to fit between the motor and servo, you can always mount the ESC on top of the servo. That's how we had to mount ours when we did a brushless conversion in the past. -Brett
Come on Kyosho... you can't keep bragging about "Ultra Scale Bodies" and then have those 4 plastic rods sticking out of the bodies windows and hoods. That's not scale at all! 😅 Kyosho does have some of the best looking lexan bodies I've seen (some look like hard bodies) but considering the amount of alternatives, I can't understand why they're still doing it this way. Wow, Bret! Nice drifting skills. I bet with a bit of practice you'd slide around that track without a problem, even in that no-drift-rig. 👍
is it me or is the in-studio audio biased toward the left? really hard to listen to it. it centered in a couple places but then went back to left bias. i ended up having to skip to the driving section as that was centered properly.
Kyosho has some absolutely stunning bodies but not bought any as the body clips ruin it for me, as I like to have it as scale as possible and the body posts spoil it they already cheap out on the chassis and running gear so surely by now they have saved enough cash to develope a clipless system come on even the cheapest Chineseum stuff is clipless on a lot of their models.
I really don’t understand too and I arrived to a point to think they did it on purpose to keep the “RC” feeling on a certain way… Idk how to explain this correctly but I know Japanese are capable doing things like that, I know it sounds stupid to us…
@@1980VINZ Yeah... I'm European (Portugal) and I also find East Asian cultures peculiar in a lot of ways. Regarding RCs, Tamiya still ships their electronics with their unique battery plugs, right? (I can't think of a reason for that... I doubt most of their clients use them). This body clip situation on scale looking bodies is depressive (Kyosho isn't the only culprit) and, in my mind, I can't find a justification related to "nostalgia" or "RC feeling"... I think it's just to cut costs. AND I thought Kyosho was diverging from making holes in bodies when they released the Toyota Tacoma, which has the posts "inverted" and clipped on the chassis. Apparently not. 🥲
@@just.jose.youtube (I’m French, how is RC in Portugal mate? Here it was crazy back in the 80’s-90’s then it completely died unfortunately…….. Now it’s starting VERY VERY SLOWLY to come back, especially thanks to a French RUclipsr named MANY RC GARAGE 68) I deeply love Japan and Japanese, and they are very conservative. They prefer a proven technique to a new technique that we are not 1000% sure is superior... So their cars evolve slowly… (but surely!) Same story about real cars! And when you’re conservative, you can’t be very innovative… Good and bad sides. BUT GOD I HOPE THEY WILL STEP UP ABOUT THAT POINT 😆 Please Kyosho !!🙏❤️
@@1980VINZ I "do RC" in a very "solo" way and not super frequently, so my knowledge may be limited. Portugal is a small country, consequently, the amount of people involved in the RC hobby is small. That translates to a small market so, fewer places to buy stuff (especially physical shops since most have gone online), the only places dedicated to run an RC, that I'm aware of, are on road and off road tracks, built for competitions, run by associations and used mainly for the official events. I'm from the Porto metropolitan area (2nd biggest in PT) and I've never seen anyone running an RC in a public place. 😅 I do think, like you mention, that the hobby used to be "bigger". I feel it may be slowly growing... the advances in electronics, the increased ease of running, bigger diversity and RTRs help people get into the hobby. Yeah, Japan produces quality products, no doubt about it. Totally agree with you, they evolve slowly, but steadily. I will still mock Kyosho about their "Ultra Scale Bodies" every time they release one with body posts though. 😅 Gotta go do it on their channel. 😛
It's b******* that RC manufacturers do not include light kids in their expensive as f*** vehicles. You can buy cheap rc cars that do come with light kits. We're just getting ripped off.
Ohhhhh.... Mazda fan here. Love it. Man Kyosho just stole my heart.
"stole my heart" Such a nice statement
I love that car. Always wanted a real 1:1 version. Guess this will have to do!
I got the Fazer mk2 allready as the Pontiac GTO, love it. Time to get a New one. This one looks amazing like all kyosho fazer mk2 models
I owned an RX-2 Coupe and an RX-3 Wagon. The actual Rotary powered cars! Joy to drive!
the front and rear spoilers and overfenders are common aftermarket addons, to emulate the look of RX3 race cars from the 70s
2:48 yes
7:53 was so clean, nice driving man
Another outstanding job by Kyosho. The stance, detail, metallic paint, and those sweet sweet Japanese style mirrors. 🥰
Real glad they continued to update the fazer Mk2 with these versions, the new suspension arms has got more rigidity in them 🙌🏾

They nailed the body details. ❤
👍 I would have to get an extra basher body to preserve the other for display.
Oh my word, a savannah coupe. Dreamy.
Wow this looks great! BUT COME ON WITH THE BODY CLIPS🤦🏽♂️
I totally agree.
Oh yeah I forgot that………
The only big mistake to me.
Looks great, I bought the Chevy C10 truck and Skyline Fazers from you guys and love them. The swaybar set and LEDs are all I've added to them.

Love the vids!! The builds are awesome, the build series are fantastic! Please keep em coming! Great content, all around! Thanks! Live from ATX!!
Kyosho never fail make a good rc body ❤️
I had that car in high school. I even raced it at PIR. Portland international raceway
I see a lot of smiles per dollar on this one!
That looks pretty beast mode. Gotta say I'm more of an Rx-7 guy myself.
This thing looks so good i wish there was no body posts and wish they used a stealthy clip selection
Now if they just can do a rx2 and 4. I'm ordering this now.
Please do a video of the Kyosho mp10 readyset Nitro buggy. Would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Cool. My actual 3 is in the video.
Dammit kyosho, stahp releasing cars i have to have, already have two shelf queen skyline and 240z
But hmu if you make a second gen FC3S RX7
I notice the oversteer is with most of these Fazer platforms. My Alpine A110 does the same thing.
Sharp looking car.
Oh wow that is purrdy!
Really good looking!
Dear Kyosho: Please develop and implement a clipless body system!!
I think I bumped into you on Santa Monica blvd. I was rocking the Barbie Rc
kyosho KILLLIING it with jdm bodie
Ohhhhhhh yesssss.!! ♥ ♥
Looks fantastic. I would take that body off and put it on the shelf and get something else that I didn't mind getting destroyed
Are these the Bret tested “scratch and dent “ deals you guys sell? Haha. That car is awesome looking, i just may have to have one…
Bret......whats up buddy..👊🏻😎

love the vids just a quick question will the Hobbywing Quicrun Combo ESC G2 10BL120/3652SL 4000KV G2 Motor fit and work well in this car

6:03 Looks like you'll need to drop it down a little... I had to drop my KGP10 Skyline to get it to look 'right'

I had a 1973 rx3 super deluxe coupe in real life this is a sick body and kit, does it rust like the real thing 😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I want them to do the Hyundai N Vision.
And Traxxas a trx4 Raptor 😎
very nice 🤗💪👍👋
my first car was a savanna.
I believable how fast 💨 those weinkal engines could be 12A turbo 13b baby
too bad they didn't go with a clipless body :( would be soooooooo much better for these ultra scale releases.
How come RC cars always have crappy wheel fitment? It seems like it’d be much easier than a real car to get nice tight fitment with proper size wheels
You probably should have installed traxxas 4tec tires. Those are taller
The light pole 😂😂😂

I just realized that I have two ears.
Have they returned to body pins ???ehhh their latest model, toyota tacoma had pins underneath, wich was a lot better. They could have done again....
When they get rid of the body post and add metal outdrives/driveshafts/gears, I'll gladly pay the extra $15 it would cost them.
FYI: Watanabe is pronounced "Wa Ta Na Bay" 😃👍
This video feels different did he film it at his own house
I just don’t understand why they still use body posts!
I have way too many fazers ill just buy the body shell lol
I know but body going cost
looks like 1/8 scale

Companies NEED to stop with the ugly body posts.
Not a body you want to bash into a curb.
It's maazzzdddaaa not musda😂
Another awesome body ruined with body posts lol
Body pins?? Ugh. 🤦🏻♂️
