- This takes the unboxing a big step further and gets into comparing them against the 1991 Original release of the Black/Infrared 6 as well as my 2000 retro, both of which are unwearable, with cracked (and even missing on 1 shoe) midsoles. Again, covers the good, the bad and the downright different between these 3 releases.
As a possible correction the back heel "wrap" piece the Nike Air is embroidered into may in fact actually be a heat-treated Durabuck piece that may have melted the fibers down of what is supposed to feel like synthetic suede, as the rest of the upper is made of, which has a grippier, rubbery feel but subtley smooth. It is Highly likely that the entire 1991 upper 8s in fact synthetic Durabuck, with just the back piece formed differently than the rest of the upper. It is unique and unlock any retro release since, like because that process was hard to replicate or simply not desirable to repeat.
I totally agree with the 2019 jordan 6's with the nike air logo being too thin.....i got excited when these first dropped with the nike air branding and then when i got them in my hand i noticed the nike font was WAY too thin.....so when your looking at the back you could only see the swoosh. They did the same thing with my other favorite jordan's...the 5 grapes FINALLY being released with the nike air branding on the heel after almost 30 years and they make it a slip on shoe.
People Are Missing The Point Of Course They All Identical But 1991 Is Consider As The Deadstock Pair 2000 Is Closet To The 91’ Pair And So Is 2019 Pair Just Icy Blue Soles While Others Had Either Clear Or Yellow Soles For Years Either Way Great Comparison I Only Like Jordan In OG Colorways In Nike Air On The Back Period 2014 & 2010 Releases Are Trash Compare To These

Huh?? Nike heels AIR only for my Infrared 6s. I never messed with that overpriced pack.
