They didn’t “raise” the price, technically they lowered it. Every “OG” styled remastered retro w/ ‘Nike Air’ (2015-Present) have been 200+, starting with the Maroon 6s at $220, followed by the WC 4, Blk Metallic 5 & the True Blue 3 all in 2016. But since the TB 3 didn’t sell well (& had bad quality) we got no Nike Air branding retro in 2017 & they decided to lower the price with the BC 3 & free throw line 3 last year for $200. The price adjustment for ‘Nike Air’ branding is due to the fact that JB has to pay royalties to Nike too, since they’re “technically” their own brand, hence why we got the jumpman branding for so long on the retros
So glad I can finally do my own comparing. Just bought a pair of 2000's for 180 bucks mint. I love local sales!! Even has a mint box with the Jordan card

Had the OG’s in 91 when I was 10 and found my love for basketball and MJ. My mom spent half her paycheck on them. I trashed them in about 6 months cause I also loved skateboarding. Had to wear Payless shoes for the next 3 years.
Now I got a set and I don’t think I’ll ever wear them out of respect to my mom.
I was going to moan about them releasing them again too soon, but then I realised its been 5 years already... Time flies.

I like the blockier Nike Air lettering on the 2000’s better
The 1991 and 2000’s pair Nike The letter are close to each other stitching fatter compare to the 2019 Nike lettering are space out and stitching are kind of slim
Dope review! I can relate to wanting these back in the day and seeing my friends rocking them. My Dad was the same way. Lol. My first pair was the OG Military 4's which I paid for with my own money. I believe retail was 110 on those. 30 years ago that was a lot! Damn I'm old!!

Like you, this is my favorite not just Air Jordan but shoe of all time. This was my first ever Jordan’s back in ‘91, I was 11 years old in the 6th grade. Lol I remember like it was yesterday. I beat those shoes to death lol. I love all versions of the black and infrared, it doesn’t matter I’m getting this shoe every time it comes out new

This is probably the best review so far on RUclips! I will say that the more 'poppin' infrared the better as it offsets the black nicely, in fact i dig the 2014 version. This year though Nike delivered!!

The 2000 pair still is the best one man!!! The Nike Air on the back the letters are thicker and still the shape of the shoe is better also in my opinion

The Nike Air branding on the back ankle is way thinner in comparison to the others.
I think i might double up this shoe is just too beautiful..

I got rid of my pair because it still looks pink to me. Sure its OG but i prefer the dark red. If the prices drop below retail i’ll recop & just paint it darker.
