Planetary is definitely a masterpiece that Warren Ellis Road as like a love letter in my eyes to superheroes and also to any type of Hero from every type of genre that is out there as you mention. We're at the somehow was able to sample so much within this 27 issue 1 of every single thing will be loved about pop culture to giant monsters Pulp Fiction Heroes to like sci-fi and so on
If this were ever translated to TV they would ruin it with their "Interpretation". As it is right now it could almost word for word be transferred straight to TV without being dumbed down or filled out with mindlessly unnecessary "filler" dialogue. Just bought my copy today due to the information you provided in this video ( i.e. the one offs and binding) and am chomping at the bit awaiting it's delivery. Christmas day will be awesome!!. Also, excellent video

It's on the list. Injection is good a good science fiction read by Ellis once your done with planetary.
