Excellent casting on the guy who plays the brother of "Ludwig", he really looks similar to David Mitchell.

I liked the first episode. The rest were just repeats of the same story. I like david Mitchell but he and the story wasn’t strong enough to sustain a full series

There were elements of this movie I really liked. The acting was very charming, and it really seemed like they were enjoying making this film. What ruined it for me was unfortunately the Werewolves. The physical acting by whoever was in those werewolf suits was distractingly bad. Constantly waving their arms like a cartoon. It’s like they hired interpretive dancers. Playing a little more coy with seeing the wolves and just giving us glimpses at first might have helped. The Scary Movie scene when characters get covered… that was completely unnecessary. I’m not against gross out humor, but it just wasn’t the right tone for the rest of the movie.

I don’t think the character are that similar at all. Mark is definitely a much more pathetic, kinda grotesque character. When i first watched peep show I loved him and wanted to protect him, but watching it now, he does some pretty horrific things for his own gains. He’s a twisted guy. Ludwig definitely never lowers himself to that level.

Absolutely brilliant. As another comment my husband and I watched THEN watched it again. Wonderful television.

I loved this series. It was a nice bit of fluff to make you smile. You had to suspend credulity, that absolutely none of his co-workers realised he wasn't who he was, (spoiler alert), apart from the villain. I hope it returns for a second series.

I can't help thinking it would have been better if it wasn't a detective he was assuming the identity of, as any other work environment people he worked with may be less observant simply because that is not the primary role of their job.

Really enjoyed, don’t like crime drama with unremitting grimness

despite not being someone who watches murder mysterys etc thoroughly enjoyed it, nice mix of comedy and drama and the leads are excellent. I agree that extending the episodes to allow the weekly plot to breath more might be a good idea.

I feel it is the right length, 2 hour detective shows on itv, like Vera, have a lot of filler scenes and tend to drag, without adverts they are 1 hour 30 minutes long. The murder case of each episode is just there for him to solve, rather than for us to puzzle over, so I feel they spend just enough time on each one. 3 episodes watched, so far, watching 1 a day, and they keep getting better, I hope the last 3 are as good.

My wife and I were in imminent danger of binge watching it, but restrained ourselves and watch one each night (on iPlayer ) so that we could enjoy it for longer.

king of killers deconstructed the punisher like an asshole who just has to tear something down. and i actually liked the story and art. So I don't wanna even think about what the punisher fan base might feel reading this hit piece. I could rant out about five paragraphs about applying real world psychology related to grief and loss to a comic book but instead I'll just say this. punisher ain't going anywhere. just ignore it. there was frankencastle, and punisher with Jesus guns. he's survived more bad ideas than DC's annual run of future cancellations. praise be to true fans. Of anything.

We don't know what it is like from one day to the next day what it is going to be like. Uncontrollable labor contractions are like the uncontrollable gut-wrenching urge to vomit a fully inflated mylar balloon, while having the worst diarrhea cramps an unable to poop, but still with the feeling that you're going to shat your pants. Oh, then you are sweating and breathing like you just ran a mile non-stop on the beach in knee deep water to get to that toilet and everyone is telling you to chill out your taxes only 49% be lucky it wasn't 50%. Are you confused? Yep, what did they just say? And then your bestie tells you they drank your last beer and this should only last a day or so, just hang in there. You'll have more work to do when your done with this. 🙂

Douglas was not cancelled because of the stories he was telling about his female colleague but because of a random stupid utterance that was recorded by an offended worker. Also he was not really the correct person to cancel. This series had no winners.

Thought Hugh was miscasted as he to likeable to be playing a role like this had a quick ending

Just got done reading it. It's probably the Crossed series' magnum opus, and that's saying something because Ennis's original run and his Badlands works are brilliant as well. But Simon Spurrier hit it out of the park here. Still have Plus 100 to read and I think one more Ennis arc.

American watching your video here... I may have never read it, and I know this book was originally set in the UK but for us stateside, they change a few things up and have it set in Connecticut. And yes there are two more books in this series to adapt... A Good Girl's Guide to Bad Blood and Good as Dead. I'm actually interested to see how Emma Meyers tackles Pip's character based on how she progresses in the next two books... And trust me it gets pretty wild from a plot summary I've listened to on the book.
