Nokia N8,i have it for 6 years now, still going strong and nerver broken, the best and the last of the symbian phones with great hardware and features, please review in one Throwback Thursday!
I loved my w580i it was the first phone that I really got to choose, my second phone, and I for the longest time, while the front cover and screen kept coming off, I would just attack the cable back and the screen worked until one day it stopped working....I missed that phone. I unbranded it and I just have so many fond memories of it back in highschool...used it as a music player too which rocked as one
I also used the G1. I still have it! Haven't turned it on in a long while. Probably have 486 updates. But, for a long time I had the Nokia N95. Loved that phone but the screen broke and a week later I had the G1.
Yep mine was the T-Mobile G1. First phone I ever bought for myself. Not knowing it came with android. I fell in love with it. I still have it. But now I'm rocking this HTC One M8.
My all time favorite phone actually was the iPhone 4. I loved the feel of the hardware, the reliability of the software, the ability to store all my music on it and it had an incredible camera for the time. I also owned the 4s and the 5 and while I loved the 5, the 4 is special to me because it was my first iPhone and one of the most reliable and consistently fast phones I've ever used. Not to mention it still looks great in white and modern even though it's going on 4 years old.
While everyone was going crazy for the 3GS I opted for the HTC HD2. Windows mobile 6.5 was awful, but I loved the build quality, the Sense overlay, integration with Facebook (something iOS didn't have at the time), and screen. I kept that phone for almost 2 years and then upgraded to a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, and since then I haven't kept a phone for more than a few months. I'm on my 6th this year, which is a lot for someone who doesn't work in tech. Its beginning to become a problem (or so says my lady).
My favourite phone has to be my iPhone 4, I can still remember going to the Apple store when I was 13 and being so excited because I had waited weeks for it to be delivered to the store because if I remember right they'd ran out when I had ordered one but I thought it was amazing I remember being so impressed by the fact you could record HD video on it, a big step forward from my iPhone 3G which I had had previously, and used an iPhone 3G video recording app from the App Store, which looking back on it now, the quality was absolutely atrocious. I was also impressed with the screen and the fact you couldn't see any of the pixels on it, a feature which we all take for granted now on all phones, iPhone and Android alike.
Surprisingly the pantech breakout, it was what is feeling like a while ago, and it was my first smartphone. Yes it had terrible specs, and a battery that sucked. But it was one of the first 4g phones and I still look back at it and remember how much fun I had on it
My favorite pre-smartphone was the LG Chocolate 3, which was the flip phone version. It has a very nice screen and it also had a feature I've wished was on every phone I've had since, an FM transmitter so I could listen to music from the phone on my car radio. It was so handy because I didn't have to deal with any wires.
I own a Samsung Galaxy SII Plus(GT-i9105P) and I'm very satisfied of it, even now after one year of using. I didn't have a lot of phone in my life. The phones that I owned and used were Nokia 3220, LG KP501 Cookie, Nokia C3, and the Samsung Galaxy SII Plus that I have now. I think my favourite phones all time are Nokia C3 because of it's full QWERTY keyboard very useful for easy text messaging, and the SII Plus because it's my first smartphone ever and I already enjoyed the Android experience before the moment I started to own an Android device. That what the historic of my mobile phone experience.
My absolute favorite was the BlackBerry Pearl Flip and I think the number assigned to it was 8220, I had it for 3 years. I loved the SureType keyboard and it was the first phone I could use normal headphones with, and it had a microSD card slot so I kept all my music on it. Never really had mobile data so I couldn't surf the web but it had a pretty good camera.
In 3rd and 2nd place is HTC Wildfire S (first Android phone) and the Blackberry 9700, respectively. In first is the i-mate K-Jam (aka Qtek 9100, O2 XDA mini S, T-Mobile MDA Vario, HTC Wizard 200). It ran Windows Mobile 5.0, was the first "smartphone" I owned and it looked cool.
My favorite phone? Has to be most of the early motorola flip phones. Specifically the motorola RAZR V3 and motorola V190. The RAZR was a great phone, just absolutely beautiful. The user interface was quite nice and easily customizable, the V190 for the pure nostalgia, having been the first phone I ever owned.
LG enV, Sidekick 2, Sidekick 3, Sidekick LX both models, blackberry pearl and curve, iPhone 3g - iPhone 5, and now the note 3, I've had many more but these are my ultimate favorites of all time but my favorite is the note 3.. But now that the iPhone plus came out.. It's catching my eye just a tad lately
Left Verizon for AT&T when the BlackBerry Bold 9000 first came out and I wanted to have this phone so bad that I put up with its random reboots and quirks that most blackberries have but sadly ended up getting rid of it. It was my favorite because it made me leave a carrier and it looked so damn awesome. That's the phone that started the smartphone addiction I now succumb to on a daily basis... Wait, did that sound right???
My top 5: 1. Nokia N900 (till today the best smartphone ever build and the greatest community that still hacks for it. I still use this as a router [USB OTG LAN Adapter], harddrive for recording tv shows (32 GB internal space + micro sd card), youtube player, server (hell there is a debian running underneath it), tv remote (yeah one of the few phones back then with an IR) - I still use it but not as a phone ) 2. Nokia N9 (almost everything l loved about the N900 but it was missing the keyboard) 2. Nokia 3210 (a beautiful rock solid device that was almost unbreakable) 3. Motorola Razr V3 (just a super thin beautiful looking device) 4. HP Veer (a tiny, yeah a really tiny phone. But a smartphone. Good battery life and multitasking and physical keyboard) 5. Sony Ericsson C702 (great camera back in the days and a great music player)
My favorite phone is my Blackberry Curve, mine was in red. I remember when they first came out, and they were oh-so smart! Now the specs are sadder than Madonnas music in 2016, but that thing was AMAZING. I wish I still had it, rather than my Huawei.
I'm with you Cam, my favorite iPhone was the iPhone 3Gs and had the original but hated the edge network so the 3g network felt lightning speed in comparison. Then got the HTC inspire when I switched to android, I also hated the iPhone 4 design back in 2011.
My first ever contract phone the 8210 Nokia and a Samsung phone but I can't remember the name, only remember that it was used to promote the second matrix movie, it had swivel camera and made a awesome woshing sound when u flipped it open.... I loved that phone was epic.
My favourite phone in the past is the original Nokia N-gage, nothing beats it. Me and my class mates used to have multi player gaming session via bluetooth. Maybe in west they are considered a failure but at least in my home country they are quite famous among youngster since game boy is kind off expensive and not everyone can afford both handheld gaming and a phone.
Palm Pre has always been one of my favorites and will always be on my list. I really did love my samsung Upstage back in the day... that phone really was ahead of its time (or at least I felt so).
My first phone was awful. I treated it so poorly that the clamshell snapped in half. My current phone is a Samsung Epic 4G Touch and I'm gonna miss it like hell when I have to switch from Sprint to Softbank in a few months.
The best that I can remember was a Nokia N90 bought in 2006. It lasted some three years when I switched to my first Android phone, a Motorola Atrix.. there you go.
My top 5 favorite phones that I've owned were definitelly: 1- Samsung Champ (C3300K) - two years 2- Huawei u8650 - two years 3- Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini - 2 months 4- Samsung Galaxy S2 - Current phone 5- Samsung Galaxy S3 - 3 months
Nokia 3310 is probably the best phone I've ever had. Altough I really liked the Sony Ericsson K810i too. I kinda miss the times when it was possible to forget where you put your charger because you hadn't used it for more than a week.
Only phone I look back and miss is droid (OG) it was the first super android phone and my HTC One S .. I loved how skinny it was and was made of a metal unibody
My picks: LG G2 - 6 months and counting Sidekick LX (2007) - 18 months!! BlackBerry 9700 - 8 months Samsung Galaxy S3 - 7 months MyTouch 4G - 8 months I'm greatly considering the iPhone 6 as my next device. It will be my first iPhone if I go that route!
My number one is iPhone 3Gs. It was literally amazing and it was the first smartphone I had. Then, on my top 5 I have BlackBerry Bold 9700, Sidekick LX 2009, BlackBerry Curve 8520 and Nokia n73. I've really enjoyed your video! Have a nice day! :D
My favorite 5 phone 1. Xperia play(still have it) 2. HTC G1(still have it in like a 100 pieces in my room somewhere) 3. iPhone 4(currently using) 4.LG G3(plan in getting) 5. HTC HD2 These phones are in no specific order
Is that a cat or a baby in the background? My first phone was that same Pearl, I can relate to what you mean about it "clicking." since the I've had the BlackBerry Storm 2 (which I mostly disliked) and the BlackBerry Z10, which I love!
I had like 4 motorola razers and I had them for years ( no clue how long ), nokia n95 8GB I had for 3 years ( great audio and my first 3g phone ), my black berry perl ( no clue what model but it was from t-mobile, had for about a year and got tired of cleaning the track ball scroller thing ), htc dash ( I had ift for about 1-2 months before I rolled over on it and broke the screen ) and my favorite of all /my current phone a alacatel one touch fierce from t-moble ( great screen and battery life, has built in radio and its pretty fast and does not crash ( though chrome crashes consistently ).
1. Droid Incredible 2 I got because the iPhone 4s was out of stock. 2. HTC ONE M7 . 3. Motorola RAZR from six years ago. 4. Droid Eris by htc. 5. IPhone 4s because I all most got one.
My top 5 phone's i've loved and owned: 5. Blackberry 8330 4. Sidekick 3 3. iPhone 3GS 2. Sidekick LX 2009 1.Nexus 5 I was a serious Sidekick fanboy as you can tell haha
Here's my list based on how far ahead of the competition the phones were at their time, or how much I enjoyed the hardware/software. 5. iPhone 2G 4. Motorola Milestone (Droid 1) 3. Samsung SPH-M620 (Upstage) 2.LG Chocolate (VX8500) 1. Htc M7 I have the M8 now and it's crazy and weird how much I miss the M7. A few that didn't make the list: Htc one X, Htc Desire (1), Galaxy S (1), LG Xenon, Htc HD2, Htc Evo 4g, Moto Razr.
For me, gotta be the Galaxy. But not the new super fancy ones, oh no, the original, the daddy. The Galaxy S 4G from T-Mobile, had it for 5 months, and to this day, I still miss the super amoled perfection
Omg dude I felt the same way!! Wow I was not expecting that, I thought you were gonna say iphone 2g. I've had many iphones as well... The iphone 3gs is still my favorite and I liked the way it was way more then the iphone 4 for the same reasons! But I'm on the galaxy note line rn
My three favourites are the Nokia 8110..the phone used in "The Matrix" because of its novel design and its was a great fashion statement at the time. The Nokia 3310 which you have already mentioned has to be there..it was cheap, and indestructable. If the cover got scratched...buy another one. And lastly the Nokia N95. this was the real "crossroads" phone for Nokia. Nokia marketed it under the catchline "its what computers have become..". Nokia didnt realise how ominous these words were. A particular computer manufacturer was about to join the competition and eat Nokia's lunch....
I would have to say that the best phone I have ever used was my Palm Pre. I will always look back at the great Palm brand, may it be my old Treos or the Pre line and wonder, full of hopes: «What if..» :P
My top 5: 1. Nokia 2865i (had it in middle school; BEST PHONE EVER) 2. iPhone 5S (current; love it) 3. iPhone 4S (will always remember this was my first iPhone; my pride and joy LOL) 4. LG Spyder II 5. LG Spyder
I still have the Motozine Zn5 and love it because of it's size (hate the over sized smart phones today and oversized watches that are trending today although i'll be getting a Moto X soon) The Motozine had a lot of features esp. the camera - the best at the time it was marketed ..the blue tooth, wi-fi, player etc.. there are still owners today that have motozine forums to share mods for it's OS, and getting new apps..just like there are Thinkpad X40 owners who are finding ways to hang on to and update it's system because they just love them, despite their inabilty to keep up with technology. The Motozine's problem is it's hard to find batteries...there are lots of "new" batteries except they've been on the shelf since 2008 when I bought the Motozine.
5: my dads motorola razor 4: motorola v360 3: blackberry bold (from my nephew) 2: samsung galaxy s2 plus (from my homeboy) 1: samsung galaxy s3 mini (my daily driver, and it fits great in my long, small hands)
1. Nokia 3310 (first phone) 2. Nokia n73 music ed (my first smartphone) 3.iPhone 3gs black 4. Galaxy S2 (Worlds first dual core phone) 5. Galaxy s3 ( because it was the first phone I started coding with and learned so much about android) There is more like the one I'm using right now HTC one m8... The build on this phone 😍
I did not expect you to have kids already :O Anyway, the iPhone 3gs was pretty awesome :3 EDIT: My favourite is the Sony Xperia Play, I still own it and use it from time to time :p
Cam Bunton It's pretty fun. But I guess the Nvidia Shield kinda took its place now. The most annoying thing about the Xplay is that it's stuck at Android 2.3.5...
Motorola V9m (RAZR 2). Owned it for about 10 months, which for me at the time was a record.
Nokia N8,i have it for 6 years now, still going strong and nerver broken, the best and the last of the symbian phones with great hardware and features, please review in one Throwback Thursday!
My favorite phone, that I really loved, was my Motorola RAZR V3xx. It had a built in MP3 player and expandable storage!
Favourite device was the HTD HD2. It's 4 years old now, and still running - and I still use it alongside my Nexus 4!
I loved my w580i it was the first phone that I really got to choose, my second phone, and I for the longest time, while the front cover and screen kept coming off, I would just attack the cable back and the screen worked until one day it stopped working....I missed that phone. I loved my HTC Desire. The display, how well it fitted in my hand - marvellous!
Yep mine was the T-Mobile G1. First phone I ever bought for myself. Not knowing it came with android. I fell in love with it. I still have it. But now I'm rocking this HTC One M8.

i loved my nokia 9210i and Sony ericsson P800, these devices were headturners during their time, awesome phones
Nokia E63, I had 32Gb MicroSD and had movies and tons of songs on it. Really loved the QWERTY keyboard. Shame that whatsapp didn't work well with it.
Motorola v3 is my fav phone ever
I still use my razr v3 today!!
and I'm thinking of giving up my iPhone then just using my razr. i might put it on my channel
Josh Willis mine is the Motorola v50
My favorite phone? Has to be most of the early motorola flip phones. Specifically the motorola RAZR V3 and motorola V190.
The RAZR was a great phone, just absolutely beautiful. The user interface was quite nice and easily customizable, the V190 for the pure nostalgia, having been the first phone I ever owned.

But now that the iPhone plus came out.. It's catching my eye just a tad lately
LG env3. Loved it, first phone, great battery, actually decent little 3.2 MP camera and typing was a breeze.
Left Verizon for AT&T when the BlackBerry Bold 9000 first came out and I wanted to have this phone so bad that I put up with its random reboots and quirks that most blackberries have but sadly ended up getting rid of it. 4. HP Veer (a tiny, yeah a really tiny phone. But a smartphone. Good battery life and multitasking and physical keyboard)
5. Sony Ericsson C702 (great camera back in the days and a great music player)

Oddly enough I felt the same way about the Pearl 8110 and the 3GS. My #2 and #1, respectively.

The best phone I've owned is Sony Ericsson W610i not because its the best but because the memories that comes with it.

Could you please do a review on Siemens s40?
Samsung galaxy S2 skyrocket was my absolute fav alongside my blackberry storm.
My top 5:
1. Nokia 2865i (had it in middle school; BEST PHONE EVER)
2. iPhone 5S (current; love it)
3. iPhone 4S (will always remember this was my first iPhone; my pride and joy LOL)
4. LG Spyder II
5. LG Spyder
Have you tried iPhone 5c?? If u have please share if u like that plastic shell?? If not do try it! I love my 5c! :)
Yeah, I had it for about 2-3 months. Very underrated phone.
U liked it??
Techomatic - I did. It feels really good in hand, and is just as good as an iPhone 5 in terms of performance.
Yeah! I've got the blue one! ^_^
I totally agree about the iPhone 3GS 👍
I loved my original Galaxy S Vibrant.. The international version.
The first gzone Casio loved that phone
Palm Pre. The competition is still "borrowing" from it.
One of my favourite that I ever own was the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nokia 6300 Classic
1. Samsung Galaxy S3
2. HTC Tilt
3. HTC Fuze
4. Samsung Blackjack

There is more like the one I'm using right now HTC one m8... The build on this phone 😍
The best phone I have owned and still do is the Motorolla v3i. :)
Still using my 3gs however it is running on its last legs
A friend of mine finally gave his 3GS up for a 4S a couple months ago

Anyway, the iPhone 3gs was pretty awesome :3
EDIT: My favourite is the Sony Xperia Play, I still own it and use it from time to time :p
Nice. I still haven't tried the Xperia Play, always meant to.
Cam Bunton It's pretty fun. But I guess the Nvidia Shield kinda took its place now. The most annoying thing about the Xplay is that it's stuck at Android 2.3.5...
Nokia 3210. The 1st phone without antenna. 😆
Think I still have that phone somewhere
I'll pay you 10¢ for it 😃
Hmm that old dumb phone might come in handy one day. 😀
And the battery last forever in today's terms
That is true. Probably wouldn't crack the screen if it was thrown on concrete
