I think he kind of touched on that but what I can say is keep going! After some weeks it gets better, after some months it will be gone. What he says about the volume is very true. Rather do more work outs with little volume. 3 exercises with 2-3 working sets each is enough!! Start slow but not in terms of weight but also volume. This is key to enjoy in the beginning and not be dead on the couch for weeks! :)
What I learned is that if I manage to control my general stress, I manage to get more out of my training that involves specific stress. More performance, more hypertrophy, more strength, more force, more speed. But I didn't know any of that and was just ''pushing it hard as many times as I could'' in the end ''trying to run away'' from training and then starting all over. Good vid. 👍
Btw, another thing that I learned (which I do not think is solely applicable to my genetics/metabolism) is that if my general stress is skyroketing I require much much more calories, especially carbs, unlike specific stress which doesn't cause a recognizable such effect.
oohh another thing I learned (I get excited when I learn new stuff so pls bare with me lol ) is if my general stress is out of control my NEAT just dies, whereas if specific stress, merely puts discomfort, say quad pain after quad involved training while walking, sitting etc. Some more NEAT is neat. :))
It's the training to failure every time for every exercise that's doing you in. Sure, you only do it two times a week, but that's two days where you completely wreck yourself for gains every single time. I'm assuming you're over this, but take an off or light week or two and come back. You're not going to lose all your progress in that time and having an easy workout keeps you fit without stressing yourself. I've done that before and it works wonders until you either plateau and spin your wheels or you push so hard that you injure yourself. 73% of Americans are lazy all the time. You can afford to be lazy some of the time too.
I feel more tired when resting for a couple of days before MRI tomorrow than playing basketball, football or strength training for consecutive days for the past months 😂
I started exercising on 18th April and then on 21st I've got alergy, took medications and all for 2 days, now today I re-started I don't feel the same excitement & energy while exercising which genuinely sucks when you've promised yourself that you are going to have a healthy physique by the first week of the next month Also my mother like O.M.G. wouldn't let me exercise cuz I am a girl and would bash me cuz I've been "gaining" weight....idk what she want I am 5'5 56 kgs which I think is pretty relevant but I promised myself to come down to 52 kgs, started exercising and on other hand my mother started bashing me out, she came and offered me tea in mid session of me working out lmao... genuinely sucks plus it broke my rhythm so yet here I am watching this video to stimulate my exercising pattern
This is great information, thank you! I would also be curious to know how diet factors in, I quickly notice the impacts of under fueling and it can take a week to come back from even a few days of not enough intake.
I'm just being honest, this wasn't super helpful for someone who's a newby & doesn't know what these terms mean. What I heard was I pretty much can't do this by myself but that I need a doctor or a trainer. I think it'd be really helpful to have a video like this for someone who is brand new to all this world of workouts. I hope that's helpful input :)
I dont get the way this is working. I ride bycicle 20-24 Minutes each day and try to do 3x8 Pull ups (with subtracted weight so I can just make it to 3x8 reps) and go home. And Im feeling so tired. Im not hitting the gym for any weight loss or body buildung goals, just to get my mental health right. And this is really bothering me as it does the opposite of what im trying to do.
Your legs are one of the biggest muscles in ur body. Pushing them everyday will make u feel tired. My advice would be to add atleast 2 rest days and one day for strength training of ur legs in a week.

Hey bro, I don’t train to failure, but I do some reserves and yet I feel fatigued maybe because I increased sets is it also that I’m eating less but I feel myself. I’m eating good or cutting weight with low calorie deficit does it?
1. For normal people who are not training to be professional bodybuilders or athletes, it’s better to keep mixing ur workout routines targeting different muscles, rather than repeating the same workout again and again. Repetition increases endurance, mixing increases general fitness. This is why professional runners can’t lift a lot of weights, and bodybuilders can’t run 5km 2. Weight lifting is just increasing the weight to a minimum of 6-7 reps. Beyond that it’s mostly a cardio exercise

It gets better. I'd do 10 squats and be breathing like I did a 20 yard dash. And when I lifting dumbells over my head 20 reps. I'd walk away sideways so dizzy. Now, none of these things happen. I even though I must've have high blood pressure getting that dizzy

I think i heard David Goggings tell a similar story. He stressed too much his body and felt a lot of pain for weeks and couldnt workout. Then he started stretching hardcore like 1 hour a day and after 1 or 2 weeks he was way better and now he continue to do this 1hour a day. You could try stretching, pilates, eat more protein, and maybe a chiropractor
Start walking for 20 to 30 minutes. I have a big backyard where I walk laps. I stopped walking the neighborhood Cus when I get tired and done walking, I'll still have a 10 minute walk back home from a few streets over. So I just stay in the backyard
If you had an athlete with OTS what would be the steps to helping them return to high intensity activities and normal resting heart rates assuming proper load management and deloads and rest is given
Have some session with sports psychologist, give them few weeks of break with proper nutrition and just keeping them on with aerobic training as residual effect of that components is low... This is my take on it
Who said working out gives you more energy that's definitely false it sucks the life right out of you lol.. specially when you're in your 50s and up.. sure your getting in shape but you're tired from it all the time.

Ive just started again since a week after only 2 months break ! Now i am so damn tired after every session. I am sooo fatigued wow

Lifting low weight high reps causes more muscle fatigue and longer recovery period. This is endurance training. But it is worth it.
