The moment you realize that Kyle Busch had more consecutive years of winning in the cup series than in the xfinity series.
That's such a good point.
Is there many drivers with more consecutive seasons with a win in Cup than KB? Maybe Petty and Pearson and a couple of others back in the day. I wonder if anyone in the modern era will top Kyle when he's thru.
Hope you're good.
@@MrMiD.Life.Crisis it didn't actually hit me about how long his streak is until right now
legit even 2020 saw just enough consistency to put together a win
@@Dylan2000YT yeh I think he almost broke his streak last year, didn't he?
I think he's got a longer streak than Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon ever had.
Hope you're good man.
@@MrMiD.Life.Crisis I pointed out 2020 in my initial reply :)
@@Dylan2000YT yeh I know buddy, that's why I said it.
Kyle Busch Xfinity every other season: _haha get buschwacked_
Kyle Busch in 2012: *_got full sent to the shadow realm_*
Is that a Super GT reference???
He didn’t have an Uno Reverse Card to pull on the Fat Controller.
Kyle Busch is nearly unbeatable when he goes to the lower seires.
And then there’s 2012.
I thought for sure it would actually be 2015, what with the Daytona crash
2012 was a bad season for Kyle Busch not only in Xfinity But in all 3 Touring divisions Especially in Cup where he failed to qualify for the 12 driver Chase
He only won twice bud shoot out and Richmond cup race
Kyle Busch’s 2012 NASCAR season was so bad, he didn’t even win in Trucks as well.
So this is basically “Bad Seasons: Kyle Busch 2012” with extra steps
(I know some people like hearing that lol. But don’t be toxic)
Eww 2
Plus he didn't even get into the chase in the cup series that year
@@usefultuber1608 that’s how bad it was
My theory is that Kyle Busch got replaced by JJ Yeley for a season and no one noticed.
@@bw-leftturnracing7779 Yeley has actually done well in bad cars for years now. Hopefully Penske will sign him for 2 years in their Xfinity car so he can salvage something out of his career and people will see that he's actually a solid driver.
Hell, his 2012 season in Trucks and Cup Series aswell were all bad across the board.
He didn't win a single Trucks race, and in Cup Series he only had a single victory and missed out on the Chase, finishing 13th in the standings. He's never finished lower than that year since.
That whole year was karma for the Hornaday incident
But it was only mostly due to bad luck. In Cup, he was really close at Watkins Glen, but there was oil on the track, which ruined his hopes for the win (and mostly likely for the Chase). Then, he dominated at Dover, but had to pit due to being low on fuel. At Martinsville, he could also win, if he was more aggressive. At Phoenix, Jeff Gordon's retaliation along with some other cautions robbed him for the dominant win and at Homestead, he had to pit due to being low on fuel again. In Xfinity, he should have won at Kansas, but ran out of fuel in the last lap. And in Trucks, Cale Gale put him into the wall and kept him there in the final lap to make sure he will win.
So if not for a bad luck, he wouldn't be winless in lower series and had more Cup wins.
@@michaelnovak18 If other lesser drivers are going to defeat him, they have to do stuff like Cale Gale did, and as long as it's not really horrible, NASCAR lets it slide. I mean, look what he did to Ron Hornaday in 2011. Look what he did to Kyle Larson in 2018. And, in that 100th win at Nashville, he was racing Justin Allgaier, made a stupid mistake, and cost Austin Cindric a really good racecar. (Go watch the wreck to see what I mean.) Anyways, now that he's done in the Xfinity series, I can safely watch those races again on some of those empty Saturdays I have from time to time.
@@RosaFan161 NASCAR is really tolerant as long as it's an exciting finish. Just look at Cole Custer vs John Hunter Nemechek, for example. It was nasty, what Nemechek did, but no one did anything about it except Custer taking down Nemechek. Besides, in both examples you mentioned, Kyle didn't start the incident. I also don't agree with what Kyle did to Hornaday, but that incident with Kyle Larson was a pure retaliation. Larson nearly wrecked him first, so he simply returned a favor.
Fun fact: Kurt Busch has one a race with 4 different manufacturers.

As a Kyle Busch fan, 2012 overall was just full of pain in all series
Especially when Kyle decided to blueball us with a statistically strong performance through the last 10 races.
I'm afraid we can't be friends then.
Anyone: *exists*
2012 Kurt Busch: *intense screaming and cussing*
1:14 this is my favorite clip of Kurt ever
I wanted to forget about this 😔
Ya but it shows kyle buschs talent the more he raced
I was at that race at Auto Club I knew Kyle was fuming 😤 on pit road. 😆
“Just come back and watch whenever he wins” Welp guess like Ill be watching this weekly
1:40 this is basically what is going on with 23XI. The fanbase overestimates a new team potential all the time.
I remember watching this year. Kyle struggle the whole year and this is how joe has the 54 car now in xfinity
it made no sense how he struggled this year. as weird as it sounds i believe this was his karma for wrecking Ron Hornaday in 2011
probably, the nascar gods usually don’t let you off easy
He also didn't use JGR engines. I believe he used Triad and there's a reason they left.
I'm surprised you didn't include when he ran out of fuel on the final lap in Kansas while leading going into turn 3
Kyle busch:*known for the Ron Hornaday incident*
Kurt on the other hand: *rage quitter*
It was also one of the best xfinity seasons in years. Can't imagine why lol.
I want to forget about that season
Kurt is a savage for ripping up that piece of paper 😎
2012 in general was a bad year for Kyle. Winless in Xfinity, and missed the Chase in the Cup series.
Let’s hope Kyle Busch actually stays out of the Xfinity series like he said he would
So Kyle did learn the attitude thing from Kurt
I think it's Busch brothers thing 🤔🤔😗
He’s had a bad Xfintiy Season? Time to be educated
You should do a video on all the shit that Kurt got into, between driving for 3 different teams in 2 seasons and all the stuff on the radio, I genuinely don't fully understand what truly went on
I feel like we’ll see something similar to this in the Truck Series next season.
A bit disappointed you left out that Kansas finish.
You know the one.
I would still love to watch him and Mark Martin race.
You know I was just thinking of this like a week Ago , perfect timing
Great video!
3:08 “its been plowing terribly…… he said im coming”
2012 was kinda crazy both in cup and for me as it was a eerie sign of my near future
Without watching, I know it was his year where he wasn't driving top tier equipment.
Perfectly illustrates that when he shows up to Xfinity races with an Xfinity team he is mediocre. He stays are padded due to the fact that he essentially runs a cup team in Xfinity. This is literally another version of Lewis Hamilton. The best car equals wins
As a Kyle Busch we don't talk about 2012 its gone forever your bringing back bad memories
Kurt's radio rants back then were hilarious
Back then he was more vicious than Kyle is now, must’ve been fun to watch

In 2012 Kyle managed to only win once across all three series, and missed the chase.
I do want to point out that what KBM did in Nationwide was quite impressive. Brand new team running their own stuff and finished 8th in the owner's points. The 7 teams that beat them? JGR, Roush, 3 RCR teams, and 2 Penske teams. KBM could hardly be expected to beat those teams, even with the best drivers in the business.
After 2012 Kyle signed a new contract with JGR which included JGR basically taking over KBM's contract with the 54, which is why they continued with the Monster 54 until that contract expired, and then the car went away until recently.
I’ll never forget that Kansas race when Kyle ran out of gas on the last lap and Stenhouse won. One of my personal favorite finishes.
That race was insane. RS was two laps down at one point!
Kyle Busch's 2012 NASCAR season overall was a terrible year for him
Even as a KB fan I didn’t realize how bad his seasons across all three series were
If I had a nickel for every time I've laughed at Kyle Busch crashing...I'd be a billionaire...probably
Across all 3 series he only won 1 race
3:14 That stat though. I don't see how thats even possible
Looking back, 2012 was the worst season for Kyle Busch period zero truck/nationwide wins and only a cup win just missing the chase by a point if I remember correctly.
Talking of worst seasons, I'd suggest Lewis Hamilton's worst F1 season, 2011. His stats for the 2011 F1 season are as follows, 3 wins, 6 podiums, 16 points finishes (points go down to 10th place), one pole position, an average finish of 3.75 and only 5th in the championship, 135 points behind the champion that season, Sebastian Vettel. It was such a disappointing season from a performance perspective for him that he was behind a team mate in the standings for the first time, Jenson Button.
Nonetheless, it's a measure of the phenomenal success of Lewis Hamilton that a fifth place in the standings is his lowest placing at the end of a season
What about 2013, his first season with Mercedes?
That's a rookies dream season lol
@@MilkMan225 although he only scored one win, his finishes were better overall, finishing 4th in the championship
@@j9vlikz683 right? Like those stats make it a bad season? I'd kill for a season like that on F1 games XD
@@Alpha-nj8gn they're certainly a bad season compared to what Hamilton has had from 2007. He was much more inconsistent in 2011 than he had been before or since. A sign of how frustrated he was in 2011 was when he verbally lashed out at the race Stewards at Monaco, where after a very messy race he was asked why he kept being summoned to the Stewards, he said:
"maybe it's 'caus I'm black, that's what Ali G said,"
Even after that, when he wasn't winning in 2011, he was making uncharacteristic mistakes, getting into squabbles with drivers he (on pace) shouldn't have been racing with in theory (6 run ins with Felipe Massa) and driving like he had the stuffing knocked out of him. At the time, many in the sport criticised him for driving with his heart rather than his head and there were even some who said he's a one and done champion, but looking back, that tough season was the reality check he needed to open the floodgates for the peak of his career (six more championships in the following nine seasons, and keeping a run of at least one win in every season he's been in the sport*)
*: to the end of 2021

We're all aware of the dreadful Cup Series season Kyle Busch had last year, but the same kind of deal happened in the Xfinity series too, with only 2 wins, one of those being taken away after failing post-race inspection, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he got a single Truck Series win last year either.
Kyle Busch's worst Xfinity season, would also happen to be the 1st season of who would be my last favorite Xfinity (Nationwide at that time) series driver's 1st year driving
I am an European and New to Nascar. I wanted to ask why the debisions are called "Xfinity Series" instead of "Second Devision of Nascar" I mean Xfinity is the sponsor I know. But is it not confusing when talking about a series from the 90s and you don't know which devision it is?
Why is that so?
Not trying to sound like a smart aleck, but Xfinity wouldn’t put up the money if it wasn’t called the Xfinity series.
That's why it's called Busch Wacking, not Busch beer Wacking.
So KBM raced with the 87 and 77 also?

1:03 "I LOOK LIKE A MONKEY FUCKIN' A FOOTBALL! FUCK EVERYBODY!! FUCK!!!" - Kurt "Raging Outlaw" Busch.
There’s really nothing praise about a man who ran cup and got 100 wins in a series because he stayed in it more than 10 years. Anyone who stays in it that long isn’t good enough to be a cup driver. So basically it’s like Tom Brady still playing college football while playing on Sundays also.

What Year Was That
People NEED to stop bringing up other cup guys. Kyle would beat cup drivers time and time again. There has been COUNTLESS times other cup drivers would wreck or not even finish 2nd to Kyle. This year proved Kyle is only good with JGR where he dominates. Guys like chase and joey have driven for top teams and STILL got spanked by the JGR team. People really need to chill with "no one cares about Brad, Chase, Joey, etc." We've seen cup guys LOSE to Xfinity guys when Kyle ISN'T there. JGR cup guys in the 18/54 trumps cup guys in other cup rides.
