Bay was incredibly selfless in this episode....Daphne, not so much. Bay KNEW they wanted the hearing kids to leave, and yet she risked being arrested to help save carlton. She KNEW they were planning something (she just didn't know what until the play) yet she still made them the poster.
Bay was always selfless in the series. She came off a little bratty at first, but she always tried to do the right thing. Daphne just mostly whined and cried during the series to get what she wanted. The sad part is Bay never really gets the credit she deserves for helping other people including her sister.
I personally didn’t like these episodes I am and was disabled all threw school and I didn’t get a special school just for gimps/kids in a wheelchair payed for by the government and if u remember the main reason they didn’t want to go back to mainstream schools was because of the bullying and it was hard to make friends but if u want to go to a special school then pay for a private school otherwise learn to deal with the bs I did hell I still us the nickname people used to make fun of me with because I walked funny mrwobbles that was before I was in a wheelchair
@@Opinionatedbastardpeople who are deaf need a special school so they can learn too. They have maybe one school in a whole district of whatever. Hearing people can learn to sign but deaf people can’t learn to hear. Everyone deserves to have an education and for those who can’t hear they need a special school. You can’t just say they need to get over it and stop whining when it’s the quality of their education that is being destroyed. Hope this made sense
My favorite part about this protest was Bay realizing that they might not want her and accepting it before the protest even began but protesting anyways. Another thing I really loved about the protest was is in the next episode. Bay gets quoted in the newspaper and Daphne is angry about it. Noah sides with Daphne. But Emmett, who in the first season was constantly saying not to be his voice, understands Bay's point of view and agrees with her then tells her about Daphne and Noah's kiss.
@@happymittens9708 The fight wasn't any ordinary fight though. It started because Noah wanted to turn down the music and then escalated into him making fun of Travis for being deaf.
@@twinkyedits Yeah Noah was still like, not ready to accept himself as part of the Deaf community. So really at that point even though Bay is hearing she's more supportive of Deaf culture etc. ~:~
As fellow person with a disability if kids in wheelchairs didn’t get a special government funded school just for us then what makes u so special if these kids wanted to go to a all deaf school then pay for the private schools otherwise u have to deal with the bully’s just like I did for being a gimp

I loved this episode back then, I still think it's awesome that they made the entire episode silent and in ASL.
This was such an important episode, with Deaf people standing up for themselves in protest, and all of the comments are about the background song 😒

I loved the music part from 1:07 - 1:11 and especially Emmett in that part. I also liked when he took Bay's hand.

Noah is losing his hearing, if the kids want only deaf students inside he is more fit than Bay who is fully hearing.
The reason Travis didn't want Noah is because the 2 of them had gotten into a fight a few days before and he was still mad about it.
