On November 12th, 2018, we lost one of the greats. Within the world of comic books, it could be argued that there was no single figure more important or influential than Stan Lee. Though he perhaps had equals in terms of creative contributions to the medium, Lee outshone them all by making himself a leader, champion and ambassador of not just Marvel, but the medium as a whole. I am sorry. I completed the video to see why people disliked this video. I wondered if it was how Mojo edit it, or maybe the fact that its Marvel? Maybe non comic book fans disliked it. I dont understand why we cant come to an agreement just this once and remember what Stan the Man Lee did for us. He is a hero to all. I mean he did a cameo in Teen Titans Go to the movies. We are forever grateful.

This is just my opinion, but maybe they could keep making cameos in order to keep Stan's legacy alive in the movies, although you could argue they ARE his legacy. It could be either CGI like Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One ( Idk if they can mimick his voice, so they could be silent) or just as an image in the background at some point. RIP you beautiful creator, and Excelsior!

A CGI clone would be just a tad disrespectful. I think they should now just insert "In Memory of Stan Lee" at the end of Marvel movies. And maybe a nice quote thrown in.

Stan the man everybody! I really hope his last cameo in avengers or spider man he’s revealed to be the “one above all” and his realm/home is just a white empty space with only a small wooden chair, sketching desk, a piece of paper and some pencils. On that paper was all his original characters.

I'm not sure if that was necessarily meant to be played as a joke, but I'd suggest a different approach towards that line mate.
It took me a while to watch anything about Stan Lee.. he’s not just a man he’s a real hero to all. It really did feel like I knew him and he was a family member that passed away. It just broke my heart but just knowing he’s with his wife now so we should smile about that. Rest easy Stan Lee
My bucket list had meeting him and getting him to sign one of my comics. It'll never happen, but one day I'll meet him when I die. Thank you so much Stan, for help making my childhood awesome.

Trainer Red That cameo for me was the very best part of Spider-Man 3, Kind of like IMHO the only highlight of Amazing-Spider-Man 1 was Stan’s cameo as that teacher listening to classical music in his headphones while that fight is going on around him that he’s oblivious to, 😁

WatchMojo you have another subscriber, thank y'all 4 the SUPERIOR Stan the man Lee tribute. I got teary eyed watching this, dang I still mourn and will 4 a year. A year mourning is a Lakota Sioux tradition, he was like a grandfather to me and helped me grow up a hero (protect my fam, stand up against bigotry and racism and become a man who inspires others thru his teachings.) I grew up hearing his voice on the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends cartoon show. I started collecting comics incl. DC Comics, but Marvel and the X-Men universe have Native Americans that are apart of or lead teams in the X-Men universe. I drank myself into an Alcoholic and dropped outta college. My fiance told me to sober up or leave, so I did and got counseling, but still needed more- HOPE. Comic books give me that and now I am 7 years sober and back in school to be a hero to my family of wife, son, and daughter. EXCELSIOR 'NUFF SAID.

I met him, in 2015. At the boaton comic con, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Though i wished i had time to thank him, but i think his work speaks for itself

I can honestly say out of all the celebrity losses over the last few years, this is the only one that actually affected me on an emotional level. He is an icon, and a legend. Now he moves on to the greatest adventure of all. Rest Easy Stan, you've earned it.
