Sommer Sloops(item found in game by exploring, part of the alien tech branch of the MAM) increases the product output of machines, without increasing input amounts at the cost of extra power usage. Why wait 500 minutes when it could be 250? Just go exploring more.
You made a mistake in your modular frame calculation, It's 1.25 per assembler (when you under/over clock, the amount you see is the real amount) You can do infinite conveyor elevator with floor hole (I know you dont like them :P) What I found easier than having an infinity expandable factory is to have 1 factory per middle / end game item, and building everything from scratch for this factory Because with alternate recipe I can play with input, and adapt for each item (And 1 big factory for every early items) But I guess everyone has it's own opinion on this matter
