I've been watching and waiting for you to unlock the dimensional storage. It's such a huge QOL improvement to the game but I didn't want to spoil it. I'm glad you have it now.
Yeah too bad I didn't stumble upon SAM earlier, it's really quite hidden. You do have to go quite out of your way to hunt down all the mercer spheres to make it useful though.
I think you can drag and drop items from dimensional storage to your inventory. This way, suppose you need to go on a long hunting spree, you don't need to waste 4 slots of inventory permanently carrying ammo and nobelisks, just drag the nobelisks available in cloud when necessary to an empty inventory slot and then use that stack.
@@DataEngineerPlays Oh also, the personal inventory upload thingy allows you to free up your inventory much more easily, making the cloud accessible both ways (upload and download). The somersloop thingy which you hadn't yet researched as per this video allows you to multiply the output while maintaining the same input (at the cost of some power), which is basically a huge hack, especially for power shards if you are have automated that (you can just set up a machine for that so that you can use it whenever you need power shards).
🤣 "We've always been checking on top of rocks but maybe we should look for more caves." While looking at a rock pillar with a pure SAM node on top. Just north of your base. The tall spiky looking rock pillar. To get the hypertube entrances closer together you hologram the hypertube supports and hold ctrl while using arrow keys to move it over half a space. When you open your inventory the dimensional storage shows up on the left. You can pull any thing out into your inventory from there. Can't use ammo and fuel directly from dimensional storage but can pull out a stack when ever you are low from it in inventory that way. You can also drop up to 5 stacks at a time into the upload in your inventory and it will upload it from there once you have the middle upgrade. There is also an option I saw some where for if you want to use items from storage or from inventory first.
In case you haven't found it yet and it seems like you haven't, you can buy the gate and the wall for the gate in the AWESOME Shop - walls - gates. It's between the doors and windows. You have both, but I think you want the gate the most 🙂.
I was thinking, if you need those frame things (for hard drives etc) from the cloud, could you build something that needs it, then dismantle it, cuz it should go in your inventory

Cool to see you playing satisfactory. How do you like the game overall? How does it compare to Factorio for you? I am a huge fan of Factorio and spent about 350 hours on space age and loved it. I bought this game shortly after and I think it is solid overall. I find it doesn’t hold my attention as much as Factorio did, but the visuals of this game are top notch. It’s very fun to just sit back and watch your factory work in this game.
@@Dylan_Miller satisfactory is way more chill, it's more about designing a functional aesthetic factory and there's no pressure. Factorio is great too, it's definitely more complex logistically, and more stressful in a fun way. I like both, it's just nice playing a different game after 500 straight hours of factorio
