    Would have been nice to see him first ski the HP, then the Goode. New ski's are obviously better, but it's rare to have a magical improvement on the first set. It takes time, tinkering and your own body's adjustment for the benefit to show up in bouy count. Skis now are so much like tuning a guitar, it's got to be perfect for the sound you are after and style of your play.

    So he went from a 20-year old ski to a seven-year old ski? Ummmm... yeah.

      If you've never gone from a 20-year old ski that was part of a combo set to a true slalom, you won't know the difference. I did something very similar this summer. The true slalom was wider for me and the full-fit front boot. There is a real difference.
