You are doing your job great. all of your reviews are really informative and enlightening and most importantly objective.. please keep yourselves like this ...
1. Dark Souls was well received by the community! Dark Souls II is the bad one here. 2. The NPC at 1:05 is completely OP. And From patched him - by removing a method of cheesing him easily. Now he's just OP. Worst enemy in the whole game. 3.I think you should have mentioned that there are just a few weapons (15 right-hand). PVP becomes obsolete because of that. There isn't much build variety. 4. You can easily play with your friends using the "Password" function!
v1ncn7 1. Yeah, we didn't say that correctly at the beginning we meant Dark Souls 2, later in the review we clear that up when talking about level design. 2. I actually liked that fight, it was nice to have a challenge it felt like an epic duel, I didn't cheese it. 3. We mentioned that there were less variety of weapons. 04:25 4. We did that and still had issues, region differences can make this take longer, it's needlessly complicated. But just a small side note as the only times we tried to do any co-op was in the dungeons to make them more fun. Then we'd have to re-summon each other every floor and if you wanted to progress in your own game you'd have to do everything twice. So we only did this one time before saying screw it. The dungeons were way to repetitive as is. -Josh
AnalogReviews Thanks for your reply! I just listed my ideas since I played through Bloodborne multiple times, including getting all Trophies. I agree with every reply except for the second one, about the Eileen quest NPC. I fought him with the cheese pre-patch and without post-patch. The fight is just unfair and annoying for people who would like to complete the Eileen quest properly. If From decided to leave the cheese in, it would be better. People who like the fight would be able to fight the NPC properly, but people who don't like it would be able to pass it quickly anyways. :)
+v1ncn7 For some reason I didn't have any trouble with the Bloody Crow. Backed up whenever he activated edge-mode, found him easy to parry bait. Also if you push him against a wall you can stunlock him with a fast weapon. My personal major gripe with the game was how they handled health and healthing. 20 blood vials meant that each enemy had to take out 50% (or more) of health per swing to keep the challenge up, not to mention all the bosses who had some kind of "instant kill shockwave for everyone who didn't pump VIT to 50". The blood vial system also lead to the (admittedly rare) problem of needing to grind instead of just being replenished on respawn, and having to grind in a Souls game is never a good thing. Lastly I just want to add that the few grapple attacks in the game are bullshit because it forces you to watch a 30 second cutscene where 90% of your health is drained (and if you have any chip damage on you; followed by a 5 minute loading screen).
It's funny tough. From's games can't be compared to other games & seem to be trapped in the fact that they can only be compared to other From games. haha Sony better drops the price of the PS4 soon!
Yung Jiggaboo Josh posted that comment, I understand where he's coming from though. Whenever we upload a review, people demand more without factoring in the amount of time it takes to make these. We've received about 100 comments through different mediums demanding Bloodborne over the past few months, and now that we finally release it the first two comments we get is "WHERE'S THE WITCHER 3?" We may release a Witcher 3 review at some point but we have no plans of doing so right now. Trent was originally going to do it but he's been really busy recently. Reviews for long RPGs like that are about a 200+ hour time-investment when you factor in the fact that we're completionists and we record the entire length of the game. Then we have to write a script, record the script, then edit it all together with relevant footage and music. Analog Reviews is just a hobby at the moment, we're not paid to do this and don't really enjoy feeling pressured. -Nathan
AnalogReviews This is exactly what breeds contempt in artists and hobby-reviewers who self-publish on youtube. After a while, you can become kind of hostile towards certain people or groups in the audience, if not the whole audience. Hundreds/thousands of comments demanding, far to few actually appreciating the hard work... It can be hard doing the same thing for a long time if the feedback isn't as rewarding as it used to be. I totally understand Josh - I really do. The people posting "Do you plan to review The Witcher 3?" or "Hurry up, where's Witcher?!" don't realize that these kinds of comments can cut pretty deep into the proverbial flesh of the content creator(s). That's why I try not to "demand" or ask anything anymore from creators. Even totally neutral or nice questions like "Hey, cool review! I'm currently playing TW3, will you do a review for it?" can become tiresome after a while. The ride never ends, it seems. As soons as you're done publishing your hard work, someone asks for more without really appreciating what you've made. I guess this will continue to be a problem until people try to understand artists and content creators and their creation process better. After experiencing that pressure firsthand (not on youtube), I know how helpless one can feel in such a situation. You forget why you originally started doing what you do - people seem to think it's your job to entertain them or do certain things, when in fact you're doing it because you like it. I'm surprised at the lack of "Wow, you're way late with the Bloodborne review". So people aren't complete idiots it seems. There's a big spectrum of what encapsulates a "review". You guys have done some that I'd consider more traditional "Should you buy this?" reviews, and more opinion/semi-analysis reviews that are more of a passion-project to discuss the game in question than to give advice to potential purchasers of the game in question. So when I say that I was really happy to see you guys back with such a long review of a huge title like Bloodborne, I'm telling it as it is. Your channel is great, and I'd hate for it to die because of exhaustion or contempt for the fanbase. I hope other people are of the same opinion as me in that I want guys like you to take all the time they want and need to produce their content. The videos are usually better because of it, and you guys won't burn out I hope. Just, maybe keep people updated on Twitter or something to prevent hundreds of pointless questions in the comments. :) Like I said, I don't really see your reviews as reviews like IGN or gamespot do it, but more along the lines of people like Elder-Geek.com, Matthewmatosis, guys like that. Passion-projects. Videos that state your opinion of the game, sometimes way after release because its primary purpose isn't helping with the purchasing decision, but giving an honest opinion and sparking a discussion. If you plan to review TW3, I'd say it's probably anyway better to wait until all the expansions are out. Would I like to see it? Of course I would. Would I understand if you didn't really have the time to do it now or even in the future? Absolutely. I hope you go with whatever fits the channel and your interests, and you don't give in to the "pressure" of viewers. Thanks for the great content you guys have produced over the years! I wish you guys all the best! P.S.: If any of you are Metal Gear fans: Two weeks.
How did dark souls 1felt short in its sequel? And how less cleverly designed world? I played them all found dark souls 1 the best in them when it comes to world design
I seen the all those so i was just wondering when will you do more of them. Each one of your reviews is truly excellent but almost all the recent reviews are of AAA games.... none of which I can run.... I know this is my own problem that I cant run them so I just wanted to know if you will be doing other ones too which is why I asked. Hope you do them soon.
This video is amazingly edited!!! :D
Desirae Martinez As always

+Nuri Çalışkan Hey thanks, we appreciate that!
Amazing review! I was wondering whether to pick this up or not.
+Robert Eli You should, one of the best games on the PS4.
+Robert Eli Ah yes... I was wondering which would break first!
AnalogReviews break?
+AnalogReviews That movie is so awesome
+Robert Eli I forgot to respond. Josh was quoting a line from The Dark Knight Rises because you have a Batman profile pic. haha - Valente
Great review as always. Really enjoyed watching this one. :)
iWillWakeYouUp Thanks Will, and wow on your other comments. haha - Valente
Very nice informative review :) Thank you for all your hard work.... T/C
oscar A5041 Thanks Oscar, have you played or plan on playing Bloodborne? - Valente
When's the witcher review coming?!?!
a b You..
Haha
+AnalogReviews I would like The Witcher review too, to be honest - either of the three :)
Tarhiel We have one for The Witcher 2.
Damn, how come I haven´t seen that one? Or have I forgotten? Gonna look it up now - thanks for drawing my attention to it :)
Really good review!
In short:
- Bloodborne utilizes Zelda Ocarina of Time's combat/targeting controls from 1998.
- Plays like an old Castlevania/metroid game.
- No story
there is a story, and it's damn good, BUT I AGREE, I wish they would tell it to you. check out some of VaatiVydia's story explained videos.
there is a damn good story you have to find through it not expect it to be fed to you through cutscenes or whatever

Could you guys possibly review Knock Knock for PS4?
It's funny tough. From's games can't be compared to other games & seem to be trapped in the fact that they can only be compared to other From games. haha Sony better drops the price of the PS4 soon!
Are you plannig to do The Witcher 3 review?
***** and you just killed the Witcher 3 review.
AnalogReviews Hmn... What do you mean by saying that? No W3 review? Why? Your reviews are brilliant, keep them coming!
AnalogReviews What kind of answer was that?

Brooks I was talking about Dark Souls 2. -Nathan
Thing i hate about bloodborne that its too dark and grey and very few weapons and variety of builds
Brooks I like the dark aesthetic but I definitely agree with you on the lack of weapon/build variety. -Nathan
Can you guys review Indie PC games ? As well as android games ?
ArcaneThinker We've reviewed a few in the past, there's just way too many games and too little time to cover them all. -Nathan

Speaking of indie games, can we expect a review for Rocket League?
