    Thanks for sharing!
    Don't forget to remove the filter from the porta filter and clean both after each shot.

    Thanks for sharng your process! Its always nice to see what others do and pick up a few tips and tricks!
    I just purchased mine and was wondering if it normal to see some water accumulation on top of the plastic lis labeled steam & water purging system when I pull out the drip tray? I also seem to have alot of water inside the drip tray itself when I never intentionally let any water fall there. Do you know if this is normal?

      I don't believe I've had this issue, I also purposely let water into the drip tray since I use so much of the water to heat up and clean the filter. So I can't say I've had this issue or maybe haven't noticed since I utilize that part of the machine purposely.

    To pull a manual shot just hold down the “single shot” or “double shot” button and it enters manual pull mode. Keep button pressed for desired seconds if preinfusion, then let go. Then press again to stop the pull.

      I'll normally stop the shot if it's too fast or too slow so I'm not a fan of the auto modes. I enjoy the manual control more feels more traditional too me lol

    Also have this machine for about 4 months, love it! I suggest getting a tamping mat instead of the aeropress lol.

      I actually enjoy aeropress a lot lol it's the simpler things in the coffee world that still make me enjoy it. I've had mine for close to a year. I use all my brewers evenly though. Just depends on what mood I'm in, in the mornings.

    I notice you trimmed and then tamped the coffee in the portafilter.. Surely it should be the other way around to ensure the optimum gap between the coffee and the group head?

      This was my one month into espresso making, I need to make an updated video on my current process just haven't gotten around to it. But yeah the volume of coffee didn't fit in the stock filter aka the trim, I now have one that can handle the 18 grams. Only reason I trimmed in this video. But an updated ownership video coming soon

    Do you empty your water tank every day?

    • @LuisMedrano17
      @LuisMedrano17  Год назад

      After watching a bunch of videos and people really not highlighting on that, I don't. I did it for maybe the first week since it says in the instructions to do so. From experience I think keeping it wet would cause less calcium build up then emptying it out and letting it dry up everyday. It's just my way of thinking. Either way you gotta clean it regardless to keep on brewing delicious coffee and not have any clogs or loss in pressure. Hope that helps 👍

      I just bought the Breville Barista Pro. Practical water tank management isn’t something I can find much information on. Thank You for taking the time to answer my question and putting together a video on your workflow. Your video has been very helpful.

      No problem! Glad it could help. As for the water; I again didn't follow the instructions and use filtered water from my refrigerator since it has a really good filtration system. I'm also waiting on some more accessories so I'll be posting another workflow video once I get adjusted to the new equipment.
