My most anticipated for 2024 are:
1. Ezra and Nehemiah (love the theme and I've recently become a Shem Phillips fan)
2. Inventors of the South Tigris (this trilogy has been AMAZING so far)
3. Sankore: The Pride of Mansa Musa (cool African historical/education theme with amazing art by the best in the business)
4. Daitoshi (Dani Garcia seems like a great up and coming designer and Devir has been knocking it out of the park with their productions)
5. Windmill Valley (see previous comment but replace Devir with Board and Dice - just a little wary as this one is described as light and I tend towards heavier games)
6. Galactic Cruise (unique theme with awesome art and seems like pretty solid, heavy gameplay)
Stoked on the idea of a new studio for you guys! That’s gonna be rad! Love the energy you guys bring to the community and appreciated the years of great content. Keep going strong! 🤘

My son and I have been following you since we first saw a video of Mike talking about the “fire park” he built in his backyard which proceeded to catch his yard on fire. I discovered your channel this year thanks to Foster the Meeple and I'm glad I did. Love your videos, especially your comedic shorts ("what kind of board game would be called Pickleball?" "I thought it was a Reiner Knizia game").
As for this year, I'm also excited for Dragon Eclipse. I backed it on Gamefound. Gnome Hollow has been on my radar since last summer. I met Ammon, the designer, at Gem State Gaming Con in Boise, ID. He's pretty fun to talk to and BS with.
Other games I'm excited for include Wyrmspan, Cascadia Rolling, and Nocturne.

Great list! Love love love, Ian O’Toole’s art work and will have to look into some of those games with his art. am SUCH a giant fan of Garphill games. I have so many of their games and will definitely be backing Inventors. Wayfarers shot into my top 3, so quick! Easily my favorite game from them so far, have not played Scholars yet.
I don't really keep up with new releases, but I'm excited to play through some of the classics that are new to me

@@TheBrothersMurph That would be amazing! I haven’t been able to go to a con for a while. But this year I am planning on Gencon for Saturday and Sunday. I know you guys are always busy when you go to Gencon, but if you’re there hopefully we can catch up.
This year we plan to go to the full con and we won't be at a booth so we'll be roaming around and have an easier schedule than usual so let's make something happen for sure!
Galactic Cruise is up there for me. I'm also excited for World Order, follow up to Hegemony. And the campaign will hopefully be this year but Speakeasy from Vital Lacerda. Love the theme, the designer, and Ian O'Toole will knock it out of the park as usual. Of course all of the other games I've already backed that still need to arrive like Unconscious Mind, Perseverance, Old King's Crown, DCeased, Kelp, The Battle of Versailles. Great time to be in the hobby. Gnome Hollow is a new one to me and excited to see what it's all about.
Love the energy! Love watching you guys. My recommendation (maybe eventually) is bring in other RUclips board game guest. There’s a handful of popular names and I think several of them would click so well with you both. I’m wishing the best for you two. You deserve it!

Would also like to see you guys do a video on the deck builder that came out last year through kickstarter called Unition. Love it. Would loooove an Oath or Root series. For 2024, I'm curious about Flatiron, the next game by the designers of two of my favorite games: The Red Cathedral and The White Castle. Don't know anything about the game expcept that it's about the Flatiron Building here in NYC.

I have loved the first 2 entries in the South Tigris series, but after a few plays of Inventors, I would recommend caution with your excitement for it. It is more complex than the other entries, but I haven't felt rewarded by that increase. And while I love shared infrastructure in games, it just doesn't feel meaningful in the game.

Are you sure that Galactic Cruise and/or Inventors of the South Tigris will actually be released in 2024 ? For neither of them, their crowdfunding campaigns have even launched yet !
That's a fair point. They're both listed for this year at least as of now so we put them on the list but you never know! however, with regards to Inventors of the South Tigris, they usually run their campaign early in the year and deliver just before the holidays so I'd expect to see the same happen here as well :)

ANd from Garphil we are not just getting Ezra and nehemia, shipwrights redux and inventors, we also have the new Shem game, storm raiders, Anarchy and Skara brae, so probably many more great game also to be excited, but not all can be Garphill games or Shem phillips, but man, thats my list of anticipated and excited games for 2024.
