Countless books out there on “how” to hike, what gear is best, and how to prepare. This book is different. Instead of a another “look at me and my achievements” book, It’s a revelation that studies the molding of 2 different pieces of Clay. One is Constantine the driven and developing hiker, the other is Ryan, who is sorting out the conflict of the time “In Between”. Such an interesting personal evolution as the hikes, the pain (physical, psychological, and emotional) the milestones and the rewards are earned and realized. I could not help myself in comparing what I’ve seen in hundreds of Constantine videos, to now learning more background as to what was happening during some of these hikes. Such a good read on so many levels. PS: Still the most stubborn and strong willed man I have ever met. And now a terrific writer.

You have truly always been in our corner, and the gift you have given us with that word "connection" continues to overflow with meaning. Thank you for being a part of our proverbial home. P:S: Yea..... my greatest super power and my greatest weakness, my stubbornness. I am just a giant donkey stuck in a human's body. There is another term for donkey.... but hopefully I never cross that threshold, only the stubbornness.

It is really just a book about international spy rings, diplomatic power struggles behind closed doors, the conversations that are whispered that pull the strings of governments thousands of miles around the world, and a bearded man with a backpack that blends into these boardrooms. Everyone keeps thinking it is about hiking for some reason????? Thank you so much for finding the true meaning! Haha, hope you enjoy the book!

Hahahaha, I actually had the thought while recording that you were going to say something about the shirt! I love the funky designs, keeps it looking fresh, now I only need a gold chain and more chest hair to make the look complete.

You read exactly like I did when reading to others - not a problem so don't feel you are alone in doing it. What changed my world was... I was finally told I was probably dyslexic which explained a lot of the troubles I have in school. ( likely why I love backpacking so much) It is probably too late for this pointer as you most likely are finished recording your audio book already but..... the thing that changed my reading in public was to slide a ruler down under each line so that my eyes didn't skip around so much and loose track of where each word was. Maybe give it a try. Again not a criticism just sharing. Can't wait to buy your Audio book to listen to on my next adventure!!!
Hey Constantine, if for some reason you decide to give up hiking, you could start a new hustle reading. You could call it "An evening with C", as long as you don't read Disney, Minnie shouldn't mind. LOL

Yet, the "Evening with C" hour sounds humorously fun so people can just watch me absolutely demolish the written word with the way I chew through my speech..... A mickey mouse reading you say?????
