Thanks so much for this video. I just got a great deal on a Creative 1471 (in like-new condition) and want to learn everything I can about the features on the Pfaff machines.
Hi! I own the Pfaff 1475 CD and love it. I was wanting to try to attach a different walking foot to help a little more with sewing jersey hems. Do you know if I can remove the dual feed foot to put on a different one? I’m not quite sure if it can be removed.
For that machine, the dual feed function acts as a walking foot. You are unable to remove it, unfortunately. With jersey materials, using a ballpoint needle and a stretch stitch can help make them look great, alongside using the dual feed!
The IDT is something built into the machine, so you can't retroactively add it to an older model. There may be a walking foot available for that machine, however.
The IDF on my 1475 is making a clicking sound and no longer working properly - it makes the stitch length extremely short. Can you offer any suggestions for fixing or adjusting it? Thank you.
You were meant to be a teacher. You have a calming, confident style.
Certainly an impressive machine! thanks for the demo

Great demo! Would you know if a PFAFF 875 extra can be converted with IDT?

Does the IDT foot system take the place of a walking foot? Is the Dual Feed IDT the same as 'even feed' in other machines?
The IDT does work like a walking foot, and is considered an "even feed."

Hallo is this dual feed is a kind of attachment ? Or this a system in the pfaff machine?
The Integrated Dual-Feed Technology is something that is a part of most PFAFF machines. It is not an attachment for other machines.
@@rockymountainsewingandvacuum thanks I have checked it
What model is the sewing machine
