lol, I've actually got that DVD! A buddy in college recommended the show to me and I got it for like $6.99 in 2006 because nobody cared about the show. Really bummed-out that the reboot took it in a different direction. It was such a great parody of teen tropes from that era.
You know when a show is brought back after a long period of time, it's first and only priority is, TO FINISH ITS STORY!!! Clone High believed in its own too HARD to see that there was no guarantee that it would continue beyond its initial comeback. The same thing happened to Young Justice. It wasted its final season telling insignificant side stories instead of wrapping its plot and giving a satisfying ending. Now Clone High is just going to be canceled, and no amount of memes are going to bring it back a second time
i mean to be fair the showrunners of YJ said the plan was for season 5 to be the finale. Phantoms just focused on a lot of stuff it really shouldnt have, its going to be so sad if they let the show end like that. Like pretty much all the Halo stuff wasnt needed. All that felt kinda pandery. Beast boys plot felt like it just dragged on way longer than it should have. I like Razer as a character in other DC media but it felt like they squeezed him in as well with an already stretched thin season. I could go on but i dont want to just be bitching lol. Overall the season kinda sucked. Its not confirmed cancelled. But at this point with the way WB is doing animated stuff it may as well be.
I loved season 3. It felt like it got more of the original humor and it worked with the newer characters cause we had a whole season last year getting used to them. This season 3 was alot stronger than last years first season. Really hope its renewed cause this cliffhanger was wrong lol 😅
me and my boyfriend watched season 1 and 2 of clone high over the summer and we thought it was pretty good but the first season was better, and now were watching season 3 and we both think it fucking sucks lmfao. i liked some of the new characters (mainly just harriet and candide, i hated frida and confucius and still do) and everyone was funny in the second season but in the third one i just literally hate all of them even the original characters from season 1. its not that funny and me and my bf laugh at the show instead of with it because we just dont think it has the same charm that the first season did and that the second season did a pretty good job at replicating. #killconfucius2024
