Dan's Bicycle Camper Build Part 1

- Hello everyone,
So you may had notice I was posting as much this past month. I went back to Denver to work and make most of the money needed for my build. I went back to Ft. Collins and got what I needed to start building. I designed it with the help of Brian and grateful to had been able to build majority of it on my own. This is a completely custom poly teardrop design built on a @surlybikes trailer. When I was helping @brianbarrett4038 with his I used that as the bases of mine. Mine will be smaller and lighter. I also named the camper Ultra Small (U.S.) Camper by #shadowexplorer. We came up with Shadow Explorer because we are cyclist that are always on the hunt for that shade. Now we carry it with us. I also found it fitting to be on my US tour. I am beyond excited to show everyone the finally product. Its coming together and It is very exciting for me and I hope for you as well. I recently started my build as well. I live in Aurora so we arent too far from eachother its cool to know there are others with the same ideas!
I enjoyed my time in Colorado especially Ft. Collins! Enjoy the building!
Man I really like this design I keep finding myself coming back to this video but I just don't think I'll be able to achieve the shape I'm still deciding what shape I want.
How come you think the same cant be achieved?
My camper shell was about 70 pounds when complete off my trailer, which the trailer weighed about 50
@@ridewithdanusa im terrible with angles and have very little knowledge on using miter saws im using coroplast and foam board insulation so I can probably just cut it to shape then attach it to the frame as I go and cut down what parts I dont need of the wooden framing I hope it goes well ive put about $80 into it so far
