LOVE the knobs on the buffet…really levels it up! The secretary is beautiful! What a sweet husband to vacuum the old rug for you! I’ve been married for 51 years and my husband has vacuumed maybe 3 times (after I asked him to)! I didn’t do a very good job training him! 😉. I love the hardware on the buffet since you changed it! So so pretty. This is just my opinion, but I’m not a fan of the lamp and lamp shade combo. I love each of them separately, just not together. I think the both horizontal and vertical happening at the same time is bothering me. Like I said. Just my opinion. They also have two different vibes happening. I LOVE the new rug! It made the room! The movement of the secretary was genius! Keep on keeping on! ❤

I would suggest that you remove the glass from your picture frames and use Mod Podge to make your printed out pictures look like oil paintings. I used matt Mod Podge mostly but if you want shine on some spots use regular Mod Podge on those areas. I did this with some free domain pictures I printed and they look amazing. I love your style!

I would take one of the colors from the rug and paint the dining room. Get paint chips and go from there. I would make it cozy as opposed to cool.
