    Thank you. Your mention of " It smell like nail polish remover" is exactly what I used. And guess what. It actually worked. So folks just by nail polish remover. It does the same job at a fraction of the price of the advertised Amazon product. 😁

    Can the shirt be used again to put on vinyl after the chemical is used to remove vinyl?

      maybe if you run it in the washer.

    Is there a way to remove the discoloration from the transfer? For example, when you removed HAMM and the 9, you can see where it was on the jersey after you remove it. Can it be removed? Or do you just have to cover it up with another print?

    Does it leave a residue on dark fabric and can new vinyl be immediately placed over the old spot of the previous vinyl? Does it need to be washed first

    • @everettmartin5936
      @everettmartin5936 2 года назад

      Of course it needs to be washed first. Even if you weren't going to put new vinyl down, you don't want solvent up against your skin.

      @@rodrigodiaz7167 I guess it's a difference in interpretation. I thought he meant "washed first before placing new vinyl over the old spot".
      Why would it matter if the shirt were washed before removing the initial vinyl?

    • @rodrigodiaz7167
      @rodrigodiaz7167 Год назад

      @@e2mwpg you are right. however i dont see how would it make a difference in solvents if you wash it b4 or after. it's the same and they evaporate anyways

    Can this be used on nylon or polyester jackets that are waterproof?

    • @everettmartin5936
      @everettmartin5936 2 года назад

      Those materials aren't waterproof, but will be treated with a "waterproofing" chemical. I suspect this process would mess with that chemical pretty badly. Nikwax makes products that can renew the coatings to an extent (about 85% efficacy in my experience, at best.) Unless you have something along the lines of North Face or Arc'teryx quality, you might be better off just buying yourself a new "waterproof" jacket without stickers you don't like on it
