In response to the salty milk - there's a drink called Ayran which is really popular in Turkiye and the Balkans, which is salted dairy (although more like a yoghurt drink than actual milk). It's much better than it sounds! Normally drank at breakfast with something from a bakery.

From the videos I watch, there seems to be an increased amount of Yuzu flavored things in Japan these days. I don’t remember there being so many Yuzu flavored things when I lived in Tokyo or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention enough to them. Those すいか bars have been around for a very long time. I’m sure they made some changes to them here and there but they were there when I lived there.

I hate it, the majority of it is just unrefined salt to mask the absence of caramel and other flavours. Salt crystals so damn large then snap under your teeth.
