Population of Meghalaya is 32 lack and Population of UP is 20 crore. This makes a huge difference in cleanliness. If Meghalaya had even 4 crore population, this river wouldn't have been so clean, furthermore rives near their origins are always clean like the Ganga is cleaner near her origin, they become dirtier when they travel longer distances. I hope people had the knowledge to understand this. But I still hope, Our major rivers like Yamuna, Ganga gets clean.🙏

I just hope tourism doesn't take away the reason that makes the river famous. It's not just the duty of the cleaning committee but also (and actually even more) of the tourists to keep the cleanliness preserved. Love, from Assam 💚
We must hire people from Meghalaya & Maharashtra to teach other states Municipal bodies and also kids in school; about neccecity of Harmony with nature

2:18 have you ever thought that maybe it is the mindset of the people..visit other villages in Meghalaya & you will see the same trend which is a vast difference to other most remote villages in india..Meghalaya is a peaceful place with cultures deep rooted in nature & matrilinity..a civilized world..wish other parts of India are like this
No offense but I think it has something to do with how people are being teached that cleanliness is basic necessary. Lack of proper knowledge about cleanliness was the main caused of all the dirty things we could find in our surroundings.

Travel to Shnongpdeng first & make the comparison in person
I already visited both Gharwal and Kumaon. Kosi river is clean but not as transparent as ummangot river.
