Hiya toys first intentions for Godzilla figures was and still is monstervsese Godzilla figures only. It was just a year ago when they announced that they’d also start doing some Toho based Godzilla figures as well. Other than that, it’s likely that we will be seeing a Monsterverse mechagodzilla sooner or later.

I'm hoping for the new Kong figure for GXK, which is that Kong has improved articulation where it needs it, interchangeable arm and hands with B.E.A.S.T. glove, and his axe.
@billybeigecustoms I'm also hoping we get figures for Doug, Suko, Warbats, Behemoth, Tiamat, Scylla, Methuslah, and I have an idea for an accessory pack with little hell hawks, vehicles, and etc. Edit: And especially Mechagodzilla!

Very informative video and pretty much spot on. Also the thing to consider is the licensing parameters, too. When it comes to movie license tie ins, a lot of times its the licensor dictating what can go out at what time. All these figures need to go through an approval process before they can be solicited. Appreciate the video.
Thanks! And yeah licensing can be an issue but I don't see that being an issue here since Playmates had every character out of the bag by mid January 2024. I know some people thought it was a picture of Hiya Shimo floating around in early March causing issues with licensing, but Lil leaks happen. As long as it doesn't damage the "Brand" the main concerns are always to be profitable. Pay everyone. Then role into the next figure.
Good lord I never knew how much a figure costs and etc. So, that's why the repaints so they can make more money to make new figures. That makes sense even though it's kind of asinine.
Since hiya announced they were going to focus on the Showa era I was very excited about that, just waiting for what’s in store, I also really would like a 84,shin and minus one all in stylist versions, stylist are by far my favorite, the extra size and detail equals perfection
@@billybeigecustoms they only made them for Godzilla vs Kong, 8” in height, I got the translucent blue Godzilla and it’s better then the figures, they also made a burning version and a standard Godzilla, I got Kong flying in the air with his axe to go with it, check out big bad toy store, they still got the Kong for like 30 bux on sale and the standard Godzilla version but I’d try and hunt down the atomic blue

My theory, he's a big complex boy. Like Ghidorah, Lotta moving bits, unique machine pieces that should be articulated. I'm hoping after the 2nd Ghidorah and Shimo come out Mecha Godzilla will be up for preorder. Hopefully.
And also hiya making bunch of monsterverse figure like Ghidorah special light beam version and Godzilla 2014.And much more which is very impressed and i appreciate it and now why they delay it
Although that sounds like a good reason for them not to be releasing the GxK figs,it seems like everywhere I look,I can’t find a hiya toys Godzilla 2021 figure that isn’t sold out,hopefully they restock soon since I’m kinda wanting one
Bro I preordered the re evolved Godzilla and from getting this news my heart has dropped I thought I would get it this week kowkis said that to me I’m sooo mad rn
They hopefully do improve the articulation/tolerances but looking side by side with other godzilla product shots that figure looks 95 to 100% the same mold. But I could be wrong, the head could have minor differences but I'm betting the paint job is causing that. Which is cool I do love the figure, and I love a good repaint.
So I preordered the Godzilla vs Kong Heat Ray Godzilla Translucent Figure from Entertainment earth, it says it ships July 2024 is that accurate? Because I really want that version (Sorry new to Hiya toys)

BBTS has where they're not a wholesaler but they're a very large retailer, so they'll get theirs by shipping container ship and that takes a Lil over a month, plus unload, then actual travel from Port to their warehouse, then unloading. So it could be spot on.
I love the art, and work that goes into making toys. And I got friends who make make a few successful lines of toys who are very transparent on the process and the timelines on making them. I wish more companies would communicate like they do.

I haven't picked up any stylist series yet, they're larger than the exquisite basics?

Repaints and reissues are a necessary evil in order to get new characters and sculpts.
Hopefully The Skullcrawler and the Muto becomes available again on Hiya toys

The pre evolved Godzilla is not a repaint,it has new parts and it's improved in articulation.
They hopefully do improve the articulation/tolerances but looking side by side with other godzilla product shots that figure looks 95 to 100% the same mold.
