There is no "full coverage". It's liability, comprehensive, medical payments, bodily injury, uninsured, underinsured, etc. You have some or all of these things. But even having all of them, doesn't mean you have "full coverage". If you're going to be giving advice about getting insurance, this is something you need to know.
Hello and gratitude. What if you are renting or leasing a box truck??? I can see getting $100k on cargo insurance, but what about truck insurance if you do not purchase a truck but rent???
I'm in California and I'm getting charged for 2400k a month with 6k down payment got a 2022 box truck with interstate authority is that a price? Also 0 experience on top think I'm might just have to bite it alot of people never called me back to insurance was hard to get insured here in California
You have to take into account that you are insuring a new truck, so naturally, it's going to be more expensive. They probably have your truck valued at 90k, while the rest of us have older trucks. I'd still shop around for a lower price so when it comes time to renew, you have options.
@@boss-lyfe ya thanks I thought so too but if I would have stay intrastate would also be cheaper insurance but I have a policy to go beyond a 500 radius but ya I'm nervous as heck never been in debt just a little overwhelming but I'm definitely a go getter I appreciate your advice I really like your channel, motivates me to keep pushing won't be easy

My job was selling an old box truck for a low price. Of course 3 reasons kept me for going for it. I have no idea how expensive the insurance would be. I already know it will be higher than a car. Also I have no Idea how to take care of the maintenance and how much it will be. For my car fixing the front breaks a few hundred dollars but with a box truck I imagine it would be alot higher. Also I live in an apartment meaning I have no where to park it. I think living out in the country with neighbors not too close would be the best place to keep a box truck. These were the 3 main reasons but another reason I passed on it. The truck like from the late 90's and it was hard to find parts for it which was another red flag for me.
I have another video with a trucker insurance agent. He is from Red Ox Insurance. Give him a call, and he'll be able to tell you exactly what you need.
It could be lower but that is not far from the norm. I interviewed a commercial truck insurance agent yesterday. Check my videos, and call him directly. He specializes in commercial insurance for semi and box trucks.
This was for a Tractor trailer, I got much lower quote on a box truck and cargo van. Do you have any insurance agents in the Connecticut area that you can recommend?
@@ABTVLIVE I can imagine, these rates really cut into your profits, especially during slow seasons. The insurance rates still have to be paid no matter what rates you accept.

I was quoted 10k for one year 1100 down feeling blessed in New Jersey
That is outstanding 🙂
Who did you go through????
@@stonestanza Progressive
I keep getting 2300 a month
It’s too mcuh
Can you get a progressive quote without an agent??
You should be able to get a quote, but they'll most likely transfer you to an agent.
Thank you for the heads up!!
Any time!
Thanks!!! You put me on GAME!

Did you register your company in CA?
progressive in Brooklyn nyc $68k with no payment plan , and said accident 3/17/20 wtf.... driving record isn't the worst
That's insane, no business can make money with a quote like that.
Thanks 🙏 for the valuable advice Sir
How far back do they go when checking ur driving record?
If I remember correctly, only 3 years.
@@boss-lyfe ok ty
Depends on your state, 3-5 years

Valid reasons, a lot jump right in without thinking.
How much would ur insurance be if ur never gonna drive the truck urself?
You would have to ask your insurance agent to be sure. Your drivers would still need to be covered under your insurance.
Why does my credit score have to be available?
is $2034 a month for commercial box truck insurance good
Lord have mercy. I hope I don't have to pay that much
@@tracijones12472034$ a month is not much, if you’re making 25,000 a month gross
By the way do u have to get a separate insurance for ur truck when you are not dispatched like what we have as non trucking or bobtail insurance?

Just fyi, I talked to USAA and they go through Progressive $$$$$
I don’t have truck but still Can I make a insurance?
You can, but it would have to be attached to some kind vehicle. As your agent, he'll be able to tell you what you can and can't do.
$3k down $1,500 a month from Progressive is that decent?

That's who I called today. They told me $2,600 down and $1,300 a month
I heard Ohio have cheap commercial insurance
It's pretty fair, especially when you compare it to other cities like Connecticut and NYC 🙂

That’s to expensive, I pay $500 with all those coverage
It is, but it depends on the driver's credit and driving history. I've heard of people getting quoted 4k a month, it's insane.
Where did you get your quote from?
I know you don’t live in nyc or Ct for sure lol
