Samyang 35-150mm F2-2.8 on the Panasonic S5ii L mount. First impressions & review.

  • My first thoughts after using the Samsung 35-150mm F2-2.8 L mount for an autumn photo shoot on my Panasonic S5ii. A quick note to users. You can update the lens firmware within the camera, you do not need to purchase the lens dock. Just copy the Samyang firmware on to your SD card.

    Since filming this I have created a simple and almost factory fix for the lens creep issue, which can be seen here:

    Even without lens IS, it seems to be stable enough at 150 mm

      Yeah. Only had mechanical stabilisation on too. Electronic would have added more but it would crop in a bit
