Best Marshall sound ever!!!What I got to do on my Marshall JMP master lead 2203 to sound like yours....??
There’s quite a few things I did to get it to sound this way. And I tweak each amp by ear so they are all a little different.

You can use the metal nut from a cliff jack. Works great.

Sounds great! How does it differ from the 1987x tone?
1987x is almost entirely clean sounding until you crank it and overdrive the power tubes. This amp gets these tones at low volumes.

3 way Gain structure switch, clipping switch, 3 way “Signal Enhance” switch, depth on back. Plus numerous circuit tweaks inside to make it more dynamic.
Is this cascading the 2 preamp channels?
