Gergo this drumming is really out of this world...tell us now...what is your planet and where it is??Is clearly the best video i watch speechless and it blows my mind!! Here isn't something that you don't play instead of all genres of music!!Amazing totally!!!
Innen kell megtudjam! Na jó nem, de. Te egy dob isten vagy. Hogy nem ismer a fél ország? I have to know from here that i have a fellow hungarian who is a drum god? Half the country doesnt even know who he is. Probably more...
First time I saw Gergo was this video. Since then I have watched this performance and others of his dozens of times. I have been a drummer for about 20 years and I don't think I've ever seen a drummer like this. Gergo, you are amazing! Instantly put into my top 5 drummer list.
I have no words to sufficiently describe what was just performed. I discovered Borlai about two years ago on RUclips and will always be absolutely amazed of his level of performance. He needs no band he's it. Thanks for the thoughtful critique on such a phenomenally exceptional drummer.
I do wish he'd find himself in a famous band. Just so more of the RUclips mouthbreathers that constantly parrot "Portnoy, Peart, Mangini, Gartska etc" could see what's what. Not that those drummers aren't all amazing, of course. They are. But Borlai easily eclipses them all. I think the only drummer I can think of that breaths the same air as Gergo is Vinnie.
Gergo has been around a fair while and he's not 'just a drummer', he's an all round musician. He probably wrote the music that he's playing along to. Truly one of the most amazing players on the planet today!
It is hypnotizing watching and listening to Gergo. The quantity of orchestrated hits he has to keep track of is astounding much less then going on to play them so incredibly. I've loved the drums for five decades and in all that time Gergo stands alone in what he does on a drum set. This is actually the third time Ive watched your reaction. It's like I need to see that your seeing what I'm seeing just to assure myself that I'm not going crazy. Great reaction to an unreal performance.

I saw Gergo when he toured in Tony MacAlpine and Vinnie Moore's band in 05/2018 (Umeda Club Quattro) Osaka, Japan. Amazing concert. Master musicians. Gergo(drums) , Tony( guitars and keyboards), Vinnie Moore (Guitars) and Pete Griffin (bass).
Unbelievable talented.. The total package, Hands down. Right or left hand and foot is super strong. His timing is ridiculously on point. NO WEAKNESS AT ALL, PERIODT!!!!!
Now my heart has returned to a near normal beat I can start rethinking my whole perception of drumming. With one video it's like everything I've marvelled at before has been child's play, just a build up to this performance. I'll still enjoy my old favourites but when I want to experience absolute mastery and virtuosity, from now on I'll go to Gergo Borlai. I'm 66 and finally I've found the best drummer in the World 🙏👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@@AndrewRooneyDrums by the way, at the moment that you ask yourself if Gergo is using a double pedle, at 3.30, he plays single, you concluding later that he plays double. Amazing hoe fast. It’s for myself difficult to play so fast for long time.

I'm not english fluent so ....let's speak french : mon plus grand respect pour cette incroyable performance , un concentré de musicalité rythmique et d'expression musicale mélodique sur une batterie .
If I had just one single drum influence, it would be Gergo. He encompasses territory previously navigated by Vinny, Bozzio, Cobham, JoJo. It's kind of like Winston Churchill's quote, "I am a man of simple of tastes-easily satisfied with the Best."
Man the drums never stood a chance 😵 amazing . I even had to go watch the zildjian spotlight perf. Man I second your opinion entirely lol I thought you were maybe over hyping this guy but man ... you don't even have to listen to very much and you can feel how attached he is to each phrase and just wow 😇 this is a Rooney spotlight performance 👏

His snare sound is incredible.
Agree
If not for a reaction, but for just your viewing, Drumeo had Gergo on doing a solo.....epicness beyond epicness
Andrew, thank you, you make me smile and laughing with your facial expression and comments. I learn new drummers knowing. El Estepario? Amazing. Gergo? awesome. Grtz from Holland
Thanks so much for watching
@@AndrewRooneyDrums by the way, at the moment that you ask yourself if Gergo is using a double pedle, at 3.30, he plays single, you concluding later that he plays double. Amazing hoe fast. It’s for myself difficult to play so fast for long time.
Ça calme ! Gergo est un tueur !
Appreciate you putting all these good videos up
I waited for another since! :) Good job! I hope you will have the chance to see him live once. It’s seriously mesmerising!
I hope to catch him live Joe!
I drum like this guy before I wake up in the morning.
HAHA! Me too!
Speaking of smooth. I’d love to see you react to Chris Coleman! He’s so smooth and intensely powerful
You know that I leave the most worthless comments, but I freakin' love your Lego Tie Fighter! 😵
YESSSS
And how good was the Tie Fighter sound!?
@@AndrewRooneyDrums pew pew pew. I'm such a child and own that mentality. 😁 There's a time and place for everything. Much love to you sir.
Greg you are a force to be reckoned with! Definitely some Royster influence in there for sure!
Awesome display of talent🤣 he's just phenomenal 😀👍great reaction andrew.
Glad you enjoyed it Dave!
Never heard of this dude but my god he's ripping it! I heard a whole lot of Zappa licks in those tracks he was drumming to which was an awesome surprise too
Crazy! When noise really separates from music. Remarkable.
Yeah I definitely hear the Jojo and Dennis Chambers in there! Incredible player Mark!
The drummer Zappa never got to play with. Bravúr GERGO!!!👏👏👏
17:15-17:21 MY GOODNESS!! THE FEEEEEET
Thanks Zack! ROONEY SPOTLIGHT!
Watching this again because I wanted my mind blown. Figured why not Gergo?! Gergo blows minds!
Love the Keep it Greazy groove at the end. Gets me every time...
Yup. It's unreal
