The funniest part of all this is that someone at THQ Nordic had to have seen Canned Coochie or Squidward Busts a Nut and thought ‘yes, this man needs a review copy’
The Golden Spatulas seem to just act like the Pirate Treasures from Yooka-Laylee. They serve absolutely no purpose but are hidden in more obscure locations to incentivize achievements and 100% completion

In the movie game, there was a skill tree where you could unlock/upgrade your abilities. I feel like this was something this game could use to encourage collecting.
Yeah. A lot of people rave about BFBB (which I mostly agree with, I think the game is great). But I think the spongebob movie game was equally as fun thanks to some really well designed levels, and yeah, the levelling up of abilities. :)

A Spongebob RPG would be an interesting idea, though the "open world" thing sounds vague. Not sure if you're talking about Witcher 3 which is open world but still has progression and some locked areas for the sake of game structure, or Breath of the wild style open world where there is no structure at all, or "open world" as in just wide explorable levels like Mario Odyssey, so still linear but with exploration in the areas. The third one sounds the best to me.
