- An unexpected gift from Annie to help me reach my goal of improving the interior of the HK Lancaster in 1/32 scale. This conversion will be known as "The Annie Upgrade". Now I need to chop these kits up and make it all work.

While I would never attempt a project like this myself I’m sure looking forward to seeing what goes into it.
Have this kit Nige. I’m looking forward to building it later this yr.
The Buffs have been moved!
Very nice of Annie 👍 🙂
Very!
Nigel, this will be a heart transplant and not a simple surgery. I know it will look beautiful
Back of the net Nigel ,welljell stunning kit .👍👍
I'd like to see how you address matching up the stressed skin from the Border nose to the relatively smooth skin of the HK kit with the options you mentioned. I know you pointed out the stressed skin on the Border nose and my apologies if you did go over it and I missed it; I watched the entire video, I promise. LOL
Marrying the two up, begs the question: Since the HK kit is simpler and easier for a less experienced modeler, in your opinion, would mating the Border nose to the HK fuselage still be easier for a less experienced modeler? I noted that purchasing these two kits would offer a savings of $150-200 in the US. That would definitely make this option more attractive to many.
I'm only doing it to see if it can be done!! There is a cost saving, but overall the Border kit is nicer than the HK one,. but more difficult and demanding to build.
Scale model shed is a great store.
Where do you find the time!
WOW .. amazing. A lot of work with Lancaster(S) .. jeje .. that means a lot of very very nice Lanc-videos!! Thats great!! Much greetings and a special hug for Jess!! Thomas from Mexico.
Scalemodel Shed is brilliant. Have visited 3 times and owner always has time to talk to you. Well worth a visit to empty your wallet
Sounds great!
Fast becoming the bomber king Nige!
Thank you Phil.
Another informative vid. There are some interesting photos of Lancs under construction that show the completed nose from the rear. That curved panel is not yet in place and lots of unattached wiring and hydraulic lines etc. in evidence. Looks interesting on the trolly (supplied in the HK nose kit, I believe, without guns or markings. Pristine paint job too. A build like that would obviate the weird plinth this sits on. Just a thought. Thanks again for all the effort you put into this. Really helpful.
Nige it was a pleasure to send it to you, I'm looking forward to the " Annie conversion " lol 😂
The space for the leading edge of the wing is more forward on the border one I noticed. But very nice kit. 👍
Lucky Sod, think I need some female admiriers to send me model kits 🤪 fair play to you 👍
Hi Nigel, Great video. That was awful nice of Annie to send that kit to you. It's going to take a lot of planning to pull this conversion off. I'm sure you can make it look great. I'll be looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
This is a very nice gift, and I'm looking forward to how you resolve this keep up the great work.
Hi Nigel a bit of a cheeky one, I am starting a channel up called Old boys toys covering all sorts of things models, corgi/dinky restoration, 3d printing and model railway hence the name .Just wondering what category I should list in. Love your channel so asking the best cheers expat
Education?
Shelves look good. Annie is a,generous lady. I hope Jess is recovering from her infection.
Jess has Cancer mark. Unfortunately she wont recover.
@@NigelsModellingBench Yes, I thought you said she had a urine infection a few days ago , hence my question. My apologies for the error, I must have misheard
Sorry Mark. Yes, they said it could be a urinary infection but is more than likely the bladder cancer kicking off again?
Nice gift, Nigel. This conversion will be interesting 😃
Old Nigel and his free stuff 😂
That is very nice that Annie brought for you!
You are a very busy boy 😊
Can't wait
Very nice 👌
You change your shelves! Nigel
Please do the Partworks Lanc. I want to see how you will improve the fit ad detail of a partworks build.
