i recomend you to try Taco Bell in Jakarta. you can compare Taco Bell in Europe with in Jakarta Indonesia.
Yeah, you better find nasi uduk from some random street cart than mcd, Mcd in Indonesia is only 'famous' for its dessert, although some people prefer mcd chicken than kfc. Also if you want to try local fast food place, try CFC or richeese (beware of the spiciness).

You are right. Nasi uduk from random street vendor might actually far much better than McD. Also, not really fan of their Fried chicken. Your evaluation almost similar to mine. I only goes to McD for their burger.

I only eat fillet o fish in McD it's always halal everywhere Milch und Fisch
Because nobody sell pig milk, but in Indonesia mostly foods are halal but we should wait for awhile until they get certified, but it's just feel most reassuring in my heart
I love fillet-o-fish too but it's too pricey now. I guess we have to protect from over-fishing.

I'm sorry but nasi uduk in McD is suck. Ask front office at your hotel where to buy nasi uduk near your hotel, ussually it 100% better
In your opinion, does Nasi Uduk taste like Nasi Lemak?
Cause most indonesian said nasi uduk is like Indonesia's version of nasi lemak.
Me as Malaysian never tried Nasi Uduk myself. 😁
Basically, nasi lemak is rice cooked in santan (coconut milk).
Similar but the taste is different. I think nasi lemak is a sweet version of nasi uduk, but I prefer nasi kuning.
I think Indonesia KFC better than Indonesia Mc Donald, especially for variation of menus. Malaysia Mc Donald i think better, because have full portion delicious nasi lemak compare Indonesia Mc Donald 1 Dollar nasi uduk menu.
