A hard cover is the only way to go the look is great if you spend extra you can get ones with a weight load on the top , plus it all stays drie,I put a bed rug in my truck over the factory bed liner two things I recommend
In 2018 I bought a Lomax folding hard tonneau cover from Agri-Cover, Inc for my 2017 RAM 1500. I believe this is the same one Weather Tech sells. I installed it myself and it has held up pretty well. Glad to see you back with the installation/mod videos.😀
These type of bed covers never have 100% completely water proof. There is always some water that gets in. Still better than wide open though.
The new mic sounds good. I don't have a truck anymore, but this episode made me think that I might be able to install a tonneau cover when I get a Silverado EV in the future. Glad to see you're expanding your informational episodes to your truck. Still looking forward to seeing the 71 out on the road!
i just have a 6th gen but the install guides ARE BACK
Was just looking at this one for my 2023 Silverado. Still happy 3 months later?
@@JeffSchmitz331 very much so. No major issues in 100+ heat or in rain we saw around the time of install. Have moved big stuff and small stuff, and the fold up is easy and it remains nice and snug.
@@Lethalgarage Awesome! Thanks for the update. Have a retractable on it now and as you mentioned it takes quite a bit of bed space away.
Thanks for the video. I was debating between this one or the other non flip up hard cover for my '24 High Country 1500. This helps!
The gaps haven’t proven to be an issue in rain or heavy dew yet.
I have a 24 GMC 2500 and the rear clamp also blocks the hook on the regular bed. The foam piece provided was way to short even with the rails in place prior.
i just got a new truck too! looking for a hard bed cover!
Matt. too Funny I went with the GMC Canyon AT4 version ;) I have a list of Mods if you would like some ideas
Should of gotten undercover armour flex bed cover
-each panel on top is line x line sprayed
-also nicer flatter smoother look
I have 2021 Silverado crew cab
Yeah, I’m happy with spending about $450 less
Those are $1300. He did alright by saving 500 bucks.
Thoughts of Russell Wilson being a Steelers?
I’m not happy about it, but it might fit what the team needs. Time will tell.
How has the cover been holding up? I’m between this tri fold rough county or the bak revolver x4s for my F250.
No issues to report, open and close it up almost on the daily.
I wonder if you could stick the seal to the cover instead of the bed! Have anyone tried that?
It wouldn’t be long enough. But could be a good add, but I think there would still be a small gap.
That’s annoying they don’t supply two foam chunks to fill those daylight gaps. But I assume if you call them they would ship out for free
I noticed that the truck runs faster and gas lasts just a little bit longer
How much weight do you think can be supported on top of it?
I don’t think I’d be able to stand on it. But probably 80-100lbs would be my guess
Still happy? Has that leak caused an issue or did you ever reach out to them? That is a bit concerning considering these are over $700.
No issues and very little water in those spots when in rain. Nothing to really complain about fortunately
Could always ask for extra foam strip and apply in those corners?!
Idk why, but it looks weird to see you in flip-flops and shorts. It just doesn't match you. Then again, neither does an Apple watch and/or whatever you have on your other wrist.
Also, did you just call 2 inches of space loss 8 inches? You must be packing
What am I supposed to wear? Tank top and jeans?
