Hahaha the waving story is funny. Ocean lifeguard here and it is very true... we've got signaling to communicate with those on land. One arm raised means (and it can vary from beach to beach) need assistance but not an emergency, waving your arms means emergency assistance is needed asap. To signal you are okay, make an "O" with your hands connected above you (think ballerina) or one fisted hand right on top of your head. Happy swimming and "keep 'em floating"

It's another talent in her quiver. She is a marvelous talk show guest and a sometimes host. Funny, smart, interesting. There is the fact that at times I want to take a pressure wash cleaner to her, but the girl seems to excel across all entertainment media. Don't know about dancing. Maybe that is still to come. Can dance enough to get by on TV and on stage, can twerk well, is insanely fit these days - but dance only performing. Not yet.

Ryan's golden mic is totally phallic, an impression that is reinforced by the way he constantly touches it with his lips and fingers. It's very peculiar.
Microphones have become items of tech-bling for many RUclipsrs and other creators. Does someone reading a script, or just talking, in a reasonably quiet room really need such a large microphone? Whatever minute gain in sound quality is achieved, if any, for the viewers, is obliterated if we can't see half their fkn face, and their head gets locked into one position. TV manages without. Does it make them feel better? There are often other bits of kit intruding into the frame as well, that don't need to be there. Stop it! If you want me to watch you, let me see you - stop hiding behind your equipment!
