A new movie out right now! Yes as a special treat we have a new episode of the bomb squad! With Alien Romulus! Find out where this stacks up on our list!
It's like... Yet another thing: the propensity of the director/writers crew to answer all questions posed in their movies, leave no stone unturned in a damn sci-fi horror! Explaining, exposing everything, just to be on the safe side and lose the terror of the unknown, who needs that anyways :D If this is what the genre will evolve into now, then... then actually nothing because they would not care about my voice in the matter, but I would switch genres. Dunno, maybe I'll start turning towards romantic comedies / teen drama
I will never understand the blind praise im hearing for Romulus. Everyone is praising Romulus for exact same issues that they constantly trash Prometheus and Covenant. The characters are flat and forgettable. The writing for them is nonexistent most of the time. The acting is completely dispassionate... or talentless, however you want to look at it. The fan service is completely inappropriate for a serious Alien film. Not even Resurrection stooped so low as to directly quote better, better movies in the franchise. As a fan, the "Get away from her you b****" line was completely insulting. How or why would they try to cheapen Ripleys glorious moment in Aliens?? This is how i rank the franchise: Aliens Alien Prometheus Alien Covenant Alien Resurrection AVP Alien Romulus Alien 3 AVP: Requiem
Just still can't get it trhough my skull, just as you, you can hardly keep a straight face sometimes when talking about some aspects of the movie. It would top titanic (the ship) in sinking to the very bottom value of where blockbusters can sit. AND by Fede Alvarez whom no-one seems to recognise (i mean you do, but in the nets in general) of EVIL DEAD remake fame. I say fame because it's genuinely a great movie in the domain of horror, one of the best remakes ever alongside the Blob (1988 if I remember correctly) and The Hills Have Eyes. While Romulus resides somewhere between Total Recall remake and Robocop - EXTREMELY redundant both of them. BTW. 1:09:53 - Fassbender was kinda good in X-men : Apo, despite the movie being a mistake on the whole.
X-Men Days of Future Past is the best superhero movie ive ever seen. Michael Fassbender was phenomenal as Magneto and David in Prometheus and Covenant. And i love X-Men Apocalypse. Im proud to own it on Blu-ray. This is coming from the only person who can see through James Camerons 3D magic. I know why his movies have the staying power that they do

Figuring out how much to explain is a talent a lot of people are losing

@@LukeLovesRose that is not what we did
@@nothingventuredmedia I know. I'm ranting. I'm sorry
@@LukeLovesRose oh no worries! it is weird how hard people are going for this movie when it’s so mediocre
This movie should never exist, it's a redundant, AI-designed abomination to the series
