Different priorities? Girl, can you for once aknowledge how privilleged you are? Your husband is stay at home dad!!!! Mamas, you are doing just fine, remember... Also, yes, in fact, my priority is to live a happy life, yours, Sarah, is to seem like you have a happy life. For those who want to know the difference between a happy and unhappy homemaker, rush to her sister's page...
I’m so ready for NORMAL home making and homeschooling not on a farm with acres and all this land for gardens. I live in a townhouse..outside a major city in a small city but I love homemaking and homeschooling our kids! Love this shift in content and can’t wait to go through the video !!
Yes most people live in apartments or subdivisions now. I’m glad you’re making an intentional decision to be grateful for what God has blessed you with. Sarah is an encouragement because she keeps it simple and is more down to earth like the rest of us moms. So proud of you both!🎉🎉🎉
right on! here to those who homeschool and homemake without a farm!
Go Sarah!!
You don’t have different priorities. You have the luxury of working from home, making money from filming your life and having your partner home with you. Don’t get it twisted: you are working. I acknowledge that. But your situation is very different from a majority of moms.
True but she chose to make a living like that. Others can make a living like that too it takes time and of course every situation is different but it can be done.
I definitely think she would acknowledge that her life of being able to be home is an absolute blessing, but it’s also something her and her husband have worked very hard to make possible. They could have thrown in the towel and gotten corporate jobs, but like she said, homemaking is her priority.
Plus, I think she was speaking more on how much she is in the kitchen, how much she cleans, etc. and a lot of stay at home moms saying that they could not achieve that with 5 kids.
@@paytonmcfann7701Very true.
The problem,as always, it's the blanket statement, "we have different priorities." No. We. Don't. Our priorities are exactly the same. How we handle/manage them is different. Saying our priorities are different when they're exactly the same implies, in this instance family and children, aren't because we aren't working from home etc. It's insensitive.
I understand what you are trying to say, but she most certainly has different priorities. As a homemaker, time management and the management of priorities is a very real thing. Her choice and ability to create content that she can monetize and provide valuable for those consuming isn’t easy and caring for children while running a business from home is not a simple thing. I’m not sure that luxury is the correct word considering it isn’t something that is being done without great effort.
As mothers it’s important to have self awareness and accountability in the way that caring for our home/children/selves looks and that each circumstance will be different and a result of our decisions and choices whether in our control or not. It’s not the internet’s job to make us feel comfortable in whatever experience we have or path that we are on.
As someone who lives in the suburbs and is renting, seeing other homemakers who still embrace homemaking/from scratch skills while not living on a homestead is really encouraging to me. Eventually we hope to buy a house with a yard so I can garden, but right now my homemaking looks different from a lot of other content creators (whom I love, but it’s not my reality nor will it probably ever be due my family’s needs). Congrats on the new site! I’m off to take a look-your cooking and pantry stocking ideas never fail to inspire me!
So exciting!! Congrats! 🎉❤
Would be awesome if in the future your website would have the recipes in grams too ❤
What a blessing to see these ideas of home made and homemaking without feeling like you have to have acreage and animals and gardens to do it.
Congratulations!! I’ve been waiting on seeing the website going live!
You have a lot going on - 5 kids, online career, homeschooling, homemaking, making everything from scratch, ect, so it’s a big milestone for you. Amazing job!
Congrats!!! I’ve followed you since your first pregnancy and I’ve just loved watching you grow as a mom and homemaker and I get to grow right along with you :)
I TRULY appreciate the shift in focus. And in my own personal life, while prioritizing my child and our health, it's also shifted my energy into homemaking and home schooling and organic gardening. Adopting these new hobbies and interests is honestly so exciting and fun, and soooo beneficial. And your content, since at least 10 years ago it feels like, has shifted so so much. Idk how you disappeared/reappeared into my feed, but so happy to be back. Headed to checkout the website recipes right meow!! 😅🥰
I am so excited for this! I was recently thinking, "I wish Sarah would come out with a recipe book.". Thank you so much!!❤
I am so happy you launched your website. I recently found your channel because I am getting into baking with sourdough and use a bread machine (similar to yours but different brand). And I am a fellow ginger, though most of it is white now. Thank you for your efforts.
😊Sarah,
You are an inspiration with the work you do and the mindset you have on spending quality time with your kids/husband and quality homemaking. 😊
It’s not easy to be in the spotlight and I get the opportunity it has but I couldn’t do it because of the criticism that comes with it. when you say the priorities are not the same for every mom is true, I don’t feel offended but encouraged that I can change that if this homemaking lifestyle is what I truly want. I know it takes dedication and work in the kitchen.
Just like for me once decluttering and simplifying my lifestyle and homeschooling was a huge challenge for me but I prioritized it and now I’m very much so proud of the fruit in the work I put into that with my family. Cooking was the least desired task and the hardest for me. However I do want to change that (hence why I follow your content) and will keep that truth in mind: prioritize it if that is what I want.
God bless you!
Congratulations! So happy for you and that your website is finally out🎉

Hi there! I love your videos. I have been here since you had Ivy I had my son the day before. I’m curious why you are unable to garden? Is it due to the land? Genuine curiosity!

I would love to receive your recipes.
Keep doing that nice work
Yooo never been this early! 🎉
Yay!
Would love to see the recipes include cups for those without a kitchen scale… it’s not that scales are expensive, it’s more that I know a lot of women we have never used a scale for cooking and are just more comfortable to using cups…
Up your cooking game and get a scale! It is much more precise than cup measuring will ever get and therefore leads to a better outcome. If you want to become a more experienced & sophisticated cook, add this tool to your kitchen.
