- I got this 2021 SKI-DOO 850 Etec Turbo FreeRide 154 the end of last month. I sold the 2.5 inch track and swapped it for a smaller lugged set up.The snowmobile hasn't made three miles and has been apart already! The clutching and gearing will need to be changed but first I am waiting to get studs in this thing and see what it can do. Once the sled is broke in I am dropping the Bikeman tune in this. Hopefully this thing stays together I am around 1500 feet plan to trail ride and drag race if we ever get any snow
Sweet sled 100% certified ripper! And you sir are crazy as they get riding like that your an inspiration my friend. Keep up the awesome content
The meeans a lot! Its been a rough ride but I hope I can inspire someone with my craziness. Again thank you! Means more than you know
i guess I'm pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new series online?
@Crew Quinn Flixportal
@Marcel Cyrus Thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !
@Crew Quinn happy to help :)
I was going to call out the blood😂. Literal blood sweat and tears!!
I did almost cry not even gonna lie
I’m amazed at how many people don’t understand what the tune is going to do.Cant wait.👍🌊🥶
already tuned ruclips.net/video/FRe6F-pSqsA/видео.html
Use Velcro on your sled and suit to help hold your legs in.
That’s how my buddy did it after a bike accident left him paralyzed from the waist down.
if these pins ever come in I am going to install a comfort seat for my crippled ars
This is so ridiculous hahaha
but why hahaha
@@jigglefootracing3398 turbo mountain sled in .2 inches of snow, not to mention you’re paralyzed and that sled is a wheelie machine? 😂 sick video bro for real!
@@adamjahn5969 did a track swap
why do you keep pushing on the gas and reving it so freakin much
this was before gear change and studs
Good job buddy. As a new creator myself I appreciate your video. Also on a positive note you popped up in my feed which means your doing something right as far as RUclips is concerned👍👍
got lucky
By the comments. What a way to fire up kids. 🤣🤣
I imagine your going to do the programming next?
I was going to flash at river today but didn't have good wifi

You know the turbo doesn’t even work unless your at elevation right 😂😂
oh?
For now
@RmkFilmz lmao
@RmkFilmz you truly are special
A turbo just compensates for lack of air at high altitude. If your riding under 5000 feet the turbo is just added weight. Great vid though!
What the fuck did u put that track on there for?
2.5 paddle track doesn't work well in low snow lmao
That is absolutely insane Brother. I was giggling watching ya. I just bought a renegade x 850 129 and my first ride is hours away. We got a storm ramping up now in Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦. Cape Breton Hiighlands Monday. Bring on the pow pow. Can’t wait to see that thing all spiked up. Trench digger on steroids.
did well at races today will get video up I lost my phone I have one video on my Facebook jigglefoot racing page
Sooooo, you bought a turbo sled that only maintains sea level horsepower at elevation to use on the trail??...you know you are only getting 165 hp same as everyone with a regular 850 right? Also, narrow ski stance and long track make it an awful handling trail sled and as far as I know, you can’t even get tunnel protectors for a 154. Not trying to $@!? On your purchase but, please make me understand??
Hahah right makes noooo sense. Unless he tunes it.
Can’t hear the blow off valve so it’s not making boost
going to tune it and same tunnel as a 146 studs are just about all done. Races tommorow
@@thekid3999 considering it doesn't come with a bov I would say its hard to hear something it does have
@@jigglefootracing3398 all turbos have a BOV...it may be a recirculating type that you don’t hear but, they all have one. Also, check out Muskoka free ride...his motor is stock and you can quite clearly hear his BOV.

Man twitchy thumbs is so annoying to watch
it was during break in
Ima have to get a rip on that baby! Sweet ride man, awesome video
I can't wait for some traction and turning boost up
@@jigglefootracing3398 That I Will HAVE to SEE!
Will the turbo even kick in at such low elevation?
tune watch other videos I flashed it
Not sure why you'd want that little lug track? 2"-2.5" works great ditch banging in the deep ditches. I've had my 154 trenched and burried w/ a 154 2.25". So if you're trail riding, why not a short track with studs? Will hook up and be faster. A longer track isn't going to give you better results drag racing. You'll have so little track pressure on that track, you'll always just spin and lose to short tracks w/ studs. Mind boggling.
put some money on it come race me
Nah man, u want top speed 2.25” is the way to go. The mph this sled would top out at would be mind boggling. Just needs clutching and that’s it
@@kyledejong8816 if you want top speed, less lug the better. Less rotating mass in general. That's why I'm confused that he bought a 154 for drag racing. That's a lot of rotating mass that kind of goes to waste. You can get full hook on a shorter track with good conditions. Less rotating mass, so more power to the ground. Now how much of a difference it would be, or if it would be super noticeable, not totally sure. But spreading out your dig over the contact patch on a 154, versus a shorter track, that's not much pressure.
@@Velislide I would say he bought the 154 because that’s the smallest track that Skidoo offers with the factory turbo which in its stock state isn’t going to give any more power but I’m sure a flash of some sort and it will.
Like the turbo
fishy fishy
Thats not a trail sled its a mountain sled
says who
What good is the turbo for where you are located? Seems like a waste.
Tune ability for more hp🤷♂️
turn it up and more consistent
@@jigglefootracing3398 but isn’t the short track going to be faster anyway? They usually govern long tracks out way before short tracks because its so much more rotating mass.
So I have driven/ rode everything from 3 wheelers the Maverick X3’s but oddly enough never been on a snowmobile, crazy since I’m from Colorado, but I see you just going from no throttle to full throttle, is this just your riding style or are you breaking it in or is this to keep the belt cool....?
I have had good luck with doing it like that on off during break in
3-5” tonight hopefully we get more but least it’s a start. Sled looks great and she’s a ripper are you going to tune it?
ya I want to make sure its not going to blow up haha. might tune it before break in
JiggleFoot Racing yeah I forget who’s been doing the tuning in them remember seeing some company’s last year posting they were tuning them. Definitely helps us flatlanders actually build up some boost
Looks fast af. So track swap t motion delete and that’s it?
had to swap drivers as well, 4th wheel kit in the rear TKI axel. I just got my studs today, need to run it some before bikeman tune.
@@jigglefootracing3398 well I’m subscribed and will stay tuned!!!! Happy holidays from northern Ontario! :D
@@rjracing12 Thanks a lot man! I also put a smaller riser on as well. I have a comfort seat also. I prefer the small seat but my crippled ass be flying off during hill drags
@@jigglefootracing3398 haha get a grip n letter rip
Nice snowmobile! How much does it cost I wonder?
Freeride? That’s not a trail sled.
Oh wait.
got em
Nice sled no snow for it though haha. It’s amazing how smooth and refined these new 2T are getting. I really want a 2021 mxz tnt for next year with the 600etec I think it would be a beast of a trail sled. Nice machine 👍🇨🇦🍻
the 600 will surprise you my dad is a 2015 600 carb and goes great
You ruined it and get it tuned you’ll make 3 pounds of boost that’s what I had to do to mine
been tuned studded and then some
You complain about the seat that is small, But you just bought a mountain sled that is made to be standing up on for the trails.🤣
Haters gonna hate.
well I can't stand up very well
@@jigglefootracing3398 I know that, But i’m saying that if you would have bought a trail sled, you would have a bigger seat.
@@enzoprosciutto7639 Hahahahaha im not hating i’m just saying if he bought a trail sled that is made for what he is doing he would have a better time.
@@jacobmiller2508 but TURBO trumps all
Once there up to temp they’ll shut off (I found that out on mine) so the don’t overheat also sick sled dude
I was like WTF
I have a 2016 ski doo 800 xrs with a 129 inch track and that's more then enough for trail riding. anything longer the sled don't corner for crap and they feel sloppy in overall handling. No offense but that turbo is a waste of money for what you're trying to do with it
Did you're dealer not tell you it was made for 8000ft+ in elevation???
turbo+tune=bliss
I had a 2020 backcountry 146 and that was the best trail riding sled in my opinion. 154 is the shortest option for a turbo
Where you riding this weekend?
not sure yet
The freerides are awesome. But why would you want it over a short track with these conditions?
they don't make a turbo in anyhting shorter

I mean I would love to ride it in the mountains the way it was set up but I Don't live in the mountain soooo this is all I got
If you don’t ride at high altitudes the turbo dose nothing. You guys clearly don’t know anything about how the 850 turbo works lol
interesting
@@jigglefootracing3398 you don’t build boost until you reach high altitude with the skidoo 850 turbo but judging buy the snow you have it dosnt look like you ride at very high altitude
@@jigglefootracing3398 the 850 turbo atcually dosnt gain you any more power it just maintaines its horsepower up to 10000 feet of altitude the higher you go you lose power and the higher you go the more boost the turbo builds to maintain the horse power

Enough to keep it cool time ti pound them thats what we do 💪

If you aren't at elevation the turbo does nothing. So at say 1500ft it's no better than a stock 850
come race then
@@jigglefootracing3398 I ride a 2020 backcountry xrs and have a turbo rmk. Read the brochure from shidoo, they have a sensor they have little to no boost at low elevation and only run 6.5 max stock at like 8000 ft.
@@MrTjulius watch the next video headed to races today we will see what it does
@@jigglefootracing3398 are you putting a tune in it? I can run my 2016 assault rmk with a silber turbo on 3-4lbs of boost on good 93 octane gas at 1500 ft. So I'm curious what sort of boost a tuned doo will run
@@MrTjulius I think around 6lbs on 100 octane. sled won't do anything until I get the right gear in it
Thats badass dude
thank you!
Awesome to see someone with enough common sense to change the track for Midwest trail riding.... I would recommend studding the track. Esp for braking and traction to put the power to the ground before 60mph!! Hell you could always go with the Bikeman stage 3 package extra 30hp on Pump 93....Anyways you have one Sweet Ride!
Studs are on the way and waiting for my tunnel protectors I just out sled back together go ride it. Hopefully this week be studded
Grip and rip it.
Lifes to short.
I've ripped new sleds on grass races before the snow flies, no big deal.
I'm assuming the sleds pushing a few more hp / torque than non turbo.
Tune is the way to go.
Now that I see a flatlander, you got me thinking.
I'm amazed the pig turns on a nearly bare road.
I wish we had more snow trust me!
JUST HIDEOUS LOOKING....
