PalMod Changes:
- Stages are from the incredible work made by Riiya on his PalMOD re:THIRD (Twins' Stages are from the old version of re:Third, Urien's Stage is from Ensabahnur Database).
- Character edits are inspired from FGD Remake ROM, I used most of the LP palettes from there.
- Most of the new colors are from Discord PalMOD Communities and from different internet collections like COMROM or Ensabahnur. Thanks to all the people that shares his personal PalMods. I edited a bunch of them to try to maintain the balance between the high contrast/neonish skins and the original colors.
- HUD edited by me, I used some Riiya's HUD colors for the bars. I also changed the red outline to black.
- Character select screen like Online Edition.
- Some other general effects changed.
This is my personal definitive edition, but I'll be updating every time I find things to improve.

Amigo enserio me gusta lo que hiciste, los colores de los personajes se sienten más vivos por la saturación de ello, puedo ver cada musculo o detalle de sus vestimentas. También los escenarios tienen un tono mas oscuro para que el centro de atención no solo sean los personajes. Tal vez lo único que me incomoda seria el aura blanca que antes era azul de los personajes que sacan al momento de utilizar sus supers pero como digo eso es tema mío por la costumbre. What is MSU? You can download the NO BGM version and put a playlist in the background. As far as I know, not much can be done with the original game audio

Sure
You can find the effects in the "Support" section under the name "SA Animation 1/2/3". The super art effects are made up of 3 shadows per character, so you will have to change them for each character

If you are modifying manually in Palmod you have to change each SA effect individually per character, each character has 3 SA effects that are combined within the game that make the shadows

Yeah... It was a hard decision, Hugo's stage already has enough colors and too many objects, sometimes it felt a bit oversaturated and unnatural, so I just improved the shadows keeping the original stage lighting

You need Fightcade 2, then just copy the rom into the folder

Hola, la verdad Hood, eres lo máximo le diste una inyección de vida al juego literalmente... LO RESUSITASTE, el mundo tiene que conocer este mod. Además, ya probé en online y la verdad es otra visión de como hubiese sido 3rd Strike si le sacaran una remasterización. Gran trabajo y felicidades por este gran aporte para la FGC. Y por cierto, ¿Puedo sacar un video haciendo una review de este Graph Mod? la FGC lo tiene que saber, si me concedieras el permiso de hacerlo, sería de vital importancia para todos.

Hello, I think I'm following the instructions wrong. When you copy and paste do you paste inside sfiii3nr1? And do you paste the whole mod folder or just whats inside?
Hi! You just need to copy and paste the ROM (SFIII3nr1) in the folder where you have your normal game 😉
And delete previous versions of the game (SFIII3 and SFIII3nr1)
This versión only needs SFIII3nr1 to work
Hola amigo puedes brindar un pcoo mas de información de como hacerlo correr en retraorch , ya que tienes muchos archivos por el que escoger y si tambie lei el texto de uso , pero bo encuentro la manaera de hacerlo correr la version widescreen, con el core finalborneo
Solo descarga la versión Widescreen, es un archivo nombrado sfiii3ws.
No estoy seguro, pero algunos emuladores externos tienen un lugar para poner ROMs modificadas, generalmente es una carpeta llamada Patch
Igual podrías intentar cambiar el nombre a simplemente sfiii3 con extensión ".zip" y ver si te abre
La última podría ser utilizar FB Alpha
Excelente trabajo.... He intentado probar el 4rd strike pero no aranca el juego.... Hay alguna configuración extra por hacer?.... Ya que el mismo archivo al renombrarlo como sfiii3nr1 arranca bien con el "mod" (nucleo final burn alpha) pero al renombrarlo como sfiii4n el juego muestra error... Esto en retroarch Android....
En Android no sabría decirte si hay algo extra, intenta abrirlo como sfiii3nr1 talves te abra la versión de 4rd Strike

for fightcade 2 do we just copy over the original rom? I did that and it has some of the palette edits but missing some others like Hugo's stage is still original

@@shindukess Yep, previously it had more vivid colors, but I decided to change it to one more similar to the original but with improved shadows
THe change is very subtle between the original and the improved, in this case I think it is much better to keep the original colors of the stage, unlike the others that do change more noticeably 😀

How do I install it ?? I've donwloaded a json file in internet and run the game, later I downloaded your version and pasted it in "fbneo" > "roms" but the game is still the same (also I just opened the first 3rd stryke that appeared in the search, I'm doing somehing wrong ?
You need to delete the original file and move my version in the folder where "Fcadefbneo.exe" is located 😊

It's probably possible, but so far no one has achieved it because it's very difficult, it involves entering the game code and modifying parameters, similar to wanting to change the stage themes.

No, doesn't have it, the closest thing would be her MK version.

Oh, btw, which music is this playing through the video? It's an amazing song. One of the main reasons why I love 3rd Strike is the OST and the beats, I actually dont remember this song in the 3s album

Search "3s palmod collection edit". There are Dudley's colors but it is a different palmmod, you would have to export them to mine because I already changed them

@@Puff_Sprite Sorry for the late reply. If you wanna edit the palmod you need to extract the files from the .zip and then use palmod. The files that are modified when changing colors are sfiii3-simm5.6 and sfiii3-simm5.7

Hi! First make a backup of your "sfiii" and "sfiii3nr1" and then paste only the downloaded ROM (this version contains both files in one) 🙂

If you downloaded the 500mb folder (isn't necessary to download all the versions) surely you will have to extract the folder and then look for sfiii3.zip

Edit: i looked up how to do this after posting this, turn it out, it's actually rather easy to do. though of course finding the colors you want, making it all look nice could require lots of time. especially if u want to edit everything. if anyone decides to watch the video i did however, i highly recommend headphones as the guy who does the tutorial is very quite on my speakers and such. i had to use headphones. just fyi. but ya, its honestly pretty simple.

Yes, I did everything you see in the video in 5 days. The hardest/longest part was correcting all the small errors when modifying the palettes and backgrounds. The video shows skins that I changed over time for others; Anyone can modify my ROM and use all the colors in their own PALMod (just like I did) 😀

Gracias amigo, el color verde de Ken es difícil, he probado muchos pero no me gustan como se ven a la hora de jugar, son claros y brillantes pero a veces no encajan bien con los demás personajes, así que finalmente dejé ese color verde lima, por el momento pienso dejarlo como está, pero si encuentro uno mejor seguramente lo cambie 😉
Ya actualicé el Ken verde, le mejoré el contraste de la ropa, ya está subida la nueva versión 👍

@@Hoods_ there are some ideas I have for character colors but I’m not good at art or Sprite animation. One of them is a Remy who wears all green, has red orange hair and as for the shoe color maybe white? Or red? Since I noticed he has green hair variations but no green shirt or pants variations

For offline test you have to select Third Strike Japan 990512, NO CD in FBNeo
For online/offline test click on "Test Game" in Fightcade 2 Third Strike Lobby

Pondría el screen de VS y Win con los mismos tonos del Char Select, para así asemejarse al OE.
Haría más morena a Elena en su color default.
Lo convertí al viejo modo comprimido para jugarlo en la PC batata que tengo.

En un principio si pensé cambiar los screens de Versus y Win, pero al final se veían peor de como lo imaginaba jeje
Dudleys HP color was good as is but could have made the purple shirt darker and kept the gloves red not make em white, the EX could be darker green also, just a tought, all the dark purple on Yang,Makoto and Sean was awesome tough, and White Super effects is kinda fresh, like the other colors on the super meter and HP meter aswell.
