Christ! I genuinely winced when I heard that squeaky combiner elbow joint. Short of him being so much bigger than most of us would like I'd say this is one of the best if not thee best G1 inspired 3P swoop toys. Now my money will always go with FP for trying something new but compared to Fanstoys and Toyworld it does enough differently to give both modes a chance while staying true to form. I'm sure other people have said it but G1 toy was a red chest, Diaclone was red chest but for some reason the animation model was a blue chest. I always felt it was to differentiate a fairly simple coloured team plus making the flyer blue has some air/sky based connotations. Not sure why but I'm well keen on this rockets on the combiner arm. They just really set the piece off. Terrific stuff as always Ben.
If only this were a LITTLE bigger, and the feet bots a LITTLE bigger than that...but...looks fantabulous. I think I will get this, especially at only $114 , that is a great buy. Of course I will have to buy the rest, but this is awesome . Congrats on the newborn ( my kids are 21 and 14, but I remember how much work a newborn can be)...may your newborn always be healthy and smart and kind and fun. By the way, how long does it take for Robot Kingdom to ship to you in canada?
I just preordered my first Gigapower (Snarl) 2021 reissue. Would you tell me if this Swoop would scale well with it and my Reximus Prime? Looks as if Giga and Reximus would work well together (one less of the team id have to re buy lol) The wings in this really hold attention and was just curious how'd he would work with Gigapower Snarl and my Reximus.
Hi, hope you don't mind my asking. I'm a bit new to the world of third party Transformers. I really REALLY want to get the whole Shuraking set, but when I look online, the Growl fig is usually sold out. I'm just wondering if they usually reprint these figs, or if they're really of a limited quantity.

Small item of note, and it doesn't seem to be an important one, but none of the reviews I've seen make mention of that sliding peg on the underside of the torso that locks the combiner elbow into place and places it at a slight angle (at least on mine) to keep the lower arm from sliding back over the elbow joint. I still can't figure out if the peg hole on his abdomen serves any purpose. The instructions seem to point it out, but it is completely unclear if it serves any purpose at all.
I was interested to see how Gcreation handled the problem of stowing away the Combiner limb fore arm bulk in the pterosaur mode, something which Toyworld dropped the ball on with the flying brick which is Spear, this does it better but is still a little bulky with the legs on the back but then that's just the nature of the beast
this is going to be my mp swoop, im gonna have to get the rest of the guys for the combined mode as well. I'm sure it will be amazing # all in an hella broke afterwards.

+Benscollectables Masterpiece IDW Prowl? Heard about that over at TFW2005 and while I would had liked to have seen the design in CHUG scale first, it's still kickass that this form of Prowl has a toy to its name.
+Benscollectables I agree with you Ben... whole heartedly. Theyre all very solid and very well built. Amazed they have been able to maintain such a faithful representation to G1 yet accommodate the engineering necessary to not only form a gestalt... but a beautiful one at that!
+GibDozer1 I don't want any of what your smoking. Haha know we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I challenge you to name 3 versions of Swoop that look better than this. i also issue the same challenge for Grimlock. Vulcan is a different mold and does not count. Only company comparable is Fans Toys.

how does the combined sword hold with the extra peg for blade in front of it mine doesn't hold that good and you didn't mention it either
The large sword fits in the hand fine , I just have the other handle over the hand and it stays in nice and tight
