I was watching some of the Sam Donald's highlights. He's good Quarterback sneaks at the goal line
I’m old enough to remember Testaverde throwing bombs for the Hurricanes- amazing arm.
Steve Beuerlein just for the vibes - funniest episode ever!!!!
What Donald lacked was the passion to win despite the lack of support.
Sounds like Kirk.
He will have the weapons like Carson did with the Bengals. Really good receivers and a top 15 RB
What if Sam has a great year and the Vikes win a playoff game? Do the Vikings sign him long-term?
Better failed Jets QB: Sam Darnold or Zac Wilson?
Easily Sam Darnold. He is good, and the jets and the panthers failed him. Zach Wilson is not good, and they failed each other
Brad Johnson and Rich Gannon. Not because they were Vikings. Thats who he reminds me of. I also think Justin Field is going to be really good in Pitt once he gets past Russell. Randall Cunningham and Warren Moon looked better at Viking QB than George.
Jeff George for sure
Matthew, I wrote you off when I saw you on skor north. I hated your cousins takes. You sounded more like a packers fan to me. But now you've gone on your own and I've heard your takes - you now have the best vikings youtube channel. Really pulled a Geno Smith to me.
If darnold has a better season then Kirk I want you to come on my Vikings podcast and apologize for not believing in Sam darnold. Kirk had the best coaches coaching him to make good decisions in Washington young while darnold had coaches who not even in nfl no more
I think Carson palmer
Tony Romo
physically Palmer, Jeff Goerge, Vinny are all throwbacks bigger taller QB that stand in the pocket and can rip it. Carson was going to be good until the cheap shot Stealer took out his knee. Darnold is more of the hybrid scrabble and make cool off-script plays. So his style is more like Steve Young (ceiling), closest to Baker Mayfield. Mayfield maybe smaller but he has a good-great arm too. Was going to say Pat Mahome or Roger, Russel Wilson, but they have accurately that Darnold doesn't, but they too can buy time and scrabble and make off-schedule throws in their prime. Mahome is still in his prime. Jalen Hurt is better runner Darnold can't be in that level. Darnold has no coaching most of his career. His USC coach was Clay Helton who still doesn't have an elite job. Adam Gates is nowhere, The Carolina HC is back in college. His best Pro receiver is DJMoore, people see Darnold's highlights and you see Robby Anderson, who was a 1 trick pony, deep ball. Darnold under pressure is kind of bad, bad decision hero ball, maybe SF fixed that watching Purdy (lower physical talent but uber smart QB). Darold low floor is Mariota and Jake locker, scribble QB that can't throw. Darnold will get hurt, he runs too much near the goalline (his play drops when he gets hurt). So expect another QB to play a complete of games.
It's OK Matthew. I don't think you talk too much.
I enjoy watching these shows
