Alex Smith led the Chiefs to 4x 10+ win Division Championships and had the #1 passer rating in the league in 2017 in that system.
Mahomes obviously much more talented than Alex Smith, hence him upgrading the Chiefs. But Mahomes from day 1 got to start off with a super team and best offensive mind in NFL history. Had Mahomes gone higher in draft like he should have like most other top QBs, we wouldn’t be already talking about him with the Brady, Manning and Rodgers.
Joe Gibbs was 16- 5 in the playoffs going to 4 superbowls winning 3 with different quarterbacks not in Hall of fame and not as good as Farve or Rodgers. Why wasn't he on the list of coaches?

The amount of one-score games we lost because of the sheer incompetency of Brandon Staley is ridiculous. Harbaugh will convert them into wins. No Chargers fan is even remotely thinking we will get to the SB but we will definitely improve under Harbaugh. I'd be happy with a winning season and a good playoff run, something to build on.

As a 20+ year Charger fan, I have always felt the root of the failures started with the Spanos family. I consider them to be selfish owners, who consistently chose sub par coaches to save money. I hope that ends with Harbaugh. I believe he has the leadership capacity to change the culture.

I cannot believe Colin is honestly making the case that McCarthy who has: Favre, HOF Rodgers, HOF and Dak, not the best but ONE of the best QBs in the league WITH a consistently supercharged Dallas Roster, and were talking he doesn't get enough credit sound the BS horn he underperforms CONSISTENTLY with Superbowl Caliber teams. Also he started off that take by saying the Steelers are only satisfied with not being negative win/loss but they've had A LOT more playoff success than the Cowboys in the last 10 years. The Cowboys have needed an actually good head coach since before Jason Garret and that was like a decade ago and this is coming from a Niners fan, Dak may not be that great in the playoffs but he's also really not getting a chance with a good HC (although his consistently uber talented Roster around him kinda takes away excuses).
@MarioLands-c5o Rodgers went on to have multiple MVP seasons the second McCarthy was out of the picture, Kyle Shanahan may be cursed when it comes to GETTING a ring but getting TO the Superbowl he has done pretty consistently almost regardless of the circumstances. McCarthy with a supercharged Dallas Roster consistently cant make it past the first round and it's 3/3 for EXTREMELY embarassing exits.

The Chargers, no matter how much they win, will never be L.A.'s team. They were absolutely loved in San Diego. Every time the Raiders come to town, it's a home game for the Raiders. That's good for the Raiders because it's pretty much the only home game they get. Las Vegas is a hot spot for fans of the visiting team. The NFL cares about none of these things.
