We have a very large area for out 13 Bantam chickens although i have room for at least a 100. 3hrs before dark i let them out to free range as im able to watch them . Our chickens are tame and you walk up them and pick them up. Minee are COCHIN BANTAMS and are absolutely beautiful. I have 12 hens 1 roster. They look like aa little fluffy ball and i think they are the cutest breed .the pen is predator safe for them too. ❤
Mille fleur was one of my favorite when breeding. Sweetest chickens in my opinion. My ex wife had one a rooster Mille fleur that would ride on her shoulder and when we mowed the yard it would fly up and ride the mower with us, name was Elvis and he was a ladies man. He loved women, any woman, he'd strut his stuff and regularly found his way in the house to cuddle with my step daughter.

All my growouts are just starting to lay. Not getting too many eggs just yet especially since we are going into Winter. Hopefully it will pick up soon! I will look into shipping there. Hawaii that’s awesome! My husband has always wanted to go there just so far away! ☺️
Hi what would you recommend for only 6 bantams? I am going to be building a run enclosure for them out my back garden. Unsure how big for only 6. Your advice would be really appreciated.
Yes they are. I use the ultra fine and just spot clean at least once a week. I do a full replacement maybe 2-3 times per year. It’s real easy to scoop poop. It’s almost like litter.

In the coop- 12 square feet, run - 30square feet unless they are free ranging according to her math
