- Thanks to some intuitive thinking we have a fix for your clogged Keurig Machine. Now you can have your coffee and drink it to. Give us a shout for some more helpful tips around the office.
Here’s something you probably don’t hear enough around the office. Good job, you really helped me out.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

Keurig. I've had my espresso maker for three years. I simply rinse it - not wash it - after each use, and it has never clogged. So much for modern technology making life easier!
Yep, I can say this tip is simple but it works. Was about to toss the Keurig and buy another. One last try using the paperclip and voila! it works again. Thanks Ginger

Thanks so much for sharing this hack! I was about to buy a new machine but decided to try this and my Keurig is good as new 😀🙏🏻! Definitely try this before buying Keurig’s Needle Cleaning Tool. Note: On my first attempt I didn’t go far back enough; on my second go around, I applied more pressure and could feel the paper clip pushing through the clog (you have to lengthen the clip to go back far enough). You will also want to run water through the machine 2-3 times to clean out the loose grounds that were dislodged, otherwise they’ll end up in your freshly brewed coffee! (Add some vinegar to descale too while you’re at it). Then you should be good to go!

After frequent request by my machine to descale, some within a week of each other, even though I use bottled water, the machine stopped pumping water, period. This last time it wouldn't even draw or pump water. This fixed it, thank you so much!! ❤️

THIS IS A GOOD START, but I ran into problems aligning the paperclip to the hole. I found a push pin worked well - and then to complete the task, run water through a couple of times with 1 C of vinegar added to the water. Be sure to run at least two water-only cycles after the vinegar has been discarded.

After watching several RUclips videos on using the paperclip to clean out the hole, I was unsuccessful. I’d have to run a cycle 4 times to get a cup of coffee. But your video pointed out that there are two holes and you have to remove the gasket to get to the second. Thank U thank U thank U I can now have a morning cup of coffee without going through a 10 minute routine.
Yup gasket did it for me also. But every 6 months you should take it apart and clean out the hoses. Theirs a vid for that also. You can see all the grinds stuck in the hoses. The product idea is wonderful but the product engineering sucks. But engineers did bring up the term "Your so smart your stupid". So why should they change just for us.
This works. Then, to keep it from clogging in the future, run a few cups of clean water through it daily. Spot on!
So I just descaled my KEURIG 2.0 for the first time and the next day I barely got any water out of it. I figured it’s clogged because that. Your video was the first I came to and YES! It worked after a few times of poking it with a paper clip and only brewed hot water until it sounded like new. It took less than five minutes. What a simple fix, Eh!

Like someone else said, I did notice a 3rd hole. And when I was poking it with the paper clip, it didn't seem to go in that far. I pushed harder, then felt it kind of pop. Like I had punctured something. After doing that to all 3 holes, it starting working! Thanks for the video!!!
Thank you so much!!! It worked, and yours was the easiest way to clear up the problem. Enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee right now. I have the 2.0 machine BTW... there are 2 gaskets both connected. It is the 2nd gasket that needs to be removed in order to get to the proper place for cleaning.

Thanks for the tip. Worked well for me. I had to do it twice. Bec the hole was deeper than I expected. Had to unwind the paper clip two folds and get it really deep into the hole. Guess it was plugged pretty bad.

If you push the paperclip in far enough, you can poke a hole in the soft rubber tubing that connects to that nozzle.

What he didn't cover was cleaning the exit needle on the cup holder (which he had already removed) This was my problem, as THAT needle was clogged and although it would move water without a k-cup in place, it would move NO WATER with one in.

It has to do with the brand of Coffee. Some finer grounds get stuck. Mine was working fine until I used Redner's brand. Cheaper brands ($5-7) seem to have more problems. Clogged right away. Another way to fix machine is to remove water reservoir, unplug, and remove spill stand. Take to sink. Turn upside down in sink whilst holding it with 2 hands, and give it a couple of hard taps on the bottom, to loosen any stuck grounds. It has 3 holes in the needle that don't always unclog.
Julie....thanks! I descaled and ran tons of clean water through and husband said he cleaned needle but still no brew! I tried Navy thump on sides and top but haven't tried it method. I also wondered if it was my Walmart pods.
