yes. looooooooove this, some of the finest work Kevin's ever done, chased it for years since I heard the first snippet more than a decade ago. I also bought the, at least at the time, rather expensive La La La Human Steps CD that, as legend has it, was sold at their shows. unfortunately as you say, this track is not included, at least not on the version I have. this is just incredible music
Yesterday I was reminded of when I saw them, i thought it was in London in 1994 but now I’m not sure anymore. Do you know when they performed this piece?
I have the version that was on the website originally and it is mono and lower quality than this recording. There were CDs of the song floating around apparently that were made for the performances themselves. This has always been my favorite bit of Kevin's playing -- it is post-loveless, made in his nascent home studio during the period of time that he reported in some interviews as being very productive... but of which we've seen almost nothing.
Great observation, great phrase, that's the answer to that observation. The great choreographer Édouard Lock chose this music for his principal dancer Louise Lecavalier.ruclips.net/video/6fRN1LskZvk/видео.html. Thank delzzan.
hmm very cool! Im brenan6, the guy that uploaded the fan-made doubled version. Such a beautiful track. Glad to hear a more accurate version of this song. Where did you find this version? Its totally gorgeous... although I prefer my own treatment haha even though its not the real deal (love that stereo doubling. I know kevin was pretty absolute on his mono-ness). Absolute respect for digging up the real track (if this is the real track!?). The mystery of this song seems to weave itself deeper and deeper. Cheers man!
Hey! Nice to hear from you! I always really liked the stereo version. The track definitely benefits from the huge wall it turned into when stereoized like that. I found this version once randomly on soulseek. I'd typically look it up, and one day, spotted a version with a different file size and format. I'm pretty certain it is legit. The added clarity, less quality compression, and subtle stereo definitely could not have come from the more common mono version. Has to be closer to the source. It is sort of a mystery. I wish I remember where I read about the potential "CD Rip" and the really old website where the file was originally hosted.
The file I have is a 128 kbps mp3. It's the only one that exists, as far as I know. No Flac, WAV, or 320/V0 MP3 unfortunately. RUclips does decrease quality to an extent, but in 2019 it's barely an issue. I could share the mp3 though! I also may have a mega download link, I think I've shared it before.
Proper stereo good. My neighbours love this, probabably more than I do.

@@iwearthegold wow - great, thanks!!
Moves mountains, this stuff
I was lucky enough to see La La La Humanstep perform this several times. It was absolutely spectacular, the music and dance together. Breathtaking.

i love that intro so muchhh
pew woo woo wo
That was great. Thank you, I've never heard it before.
In the beginning, I'm quite confident that is the second clear example (besides the map ref cover) of Kevin Shields using the Meatball
If I Am i think it might be in there
One of his greatest
thank you so much for loading this, I remember when it was on the early web, I had hotmail, and this to look forward to when I went the lab in 1995+
Cool, yeah! I just found my .wav file that I have from the 90's that I downloaded. it's longer than this video
just playing both now at the same time ... oh lordy
@@Magnacorpanicousamazing!! would you mind sharing it? i'd love to give it a listen :(

@@iwearthegold I honestly can’t wait! Wonder what that wav is going to sound like.
@@iwearthegold Hi Jack. Did you ever get around to ripping the WAV off of the DVD?
indredible
Please will someone make this track into a 12 hour loop?
Thanx )
dude
This is incredible, thank you for this! Can you please email me the original CD rip file? The WAV or FLAC file? RUclips downgrades audio.
