I have the same printer and now I am trying to change an ink cartridge and the printer is telling me to close the scanner which is closed. It won't move the cartridges to the right spot for me to be able to open the lid and change them.
I have this exact same printer and it says my Magenta is low, got the new cartridge, but the ink cradle or whatever its called won't move to a spot where I can open it! does the ink have to be completely empty before it will let me replace it???

I had the same problem. You have to go in parametre, choose maintenance, change ink

What they don't tell you is you need to find Maintenance on the menu first and then follow the screen prompts

My ink cartridge won't reset so that I can open it and replace the ink...why not?
I'd try unplugging it and plugging it back in
