Nice tour. $170 for the standard room is not bad with still a nice view. The upgrade Suite would be good for a big family but that shower is kind of wimpy.
The traffic with thousands of bikes happen every morning and evening, we could see it from our hotel, when the ferry boats pick up or drop the commuting workers. It was fascinating watching them, we watched the bikes being unloaded for at least 15 minutes non stop. It is a wonder how many people the ferry could carry.
It seems like it would have been wonderful in the 1920s, when Saigon was a bit…sleepier. It’s still a gorgeous building but right on the busy corner makes it not so nice for chilling…the traffic roar is ubiquitous
Every time I go to HCMC I go to the M Bar, but I haven't gone so far this trip so thanks for the timely vlog so I will go this week before leaving the city. What's on the agenda for Christmas Day?
I'd like to know how you're making a living while living in Vietnam. Do you work or make money from your RUclips channel. If you can make a video on the types of work that foreigners can do while living in Vietnam.
That's a european style bidet. Before they had bum guns in SE Asia they used a little bucket with a handle in a bigger bucket of water. Don't know the name in Vietnamese but in Tagalog it is "tabo". Some people still use them in Vietnam.
This is a very good price for this 5* hotel. I stayed at the Saigon Riverside hotel in 2007, it was rubbish and cost me £200 a night. The food was atrocious, the chef was European (not French), all in all a total waste of money.
Majestic is a run down government run and owned hotel. Extremely overpriced. I wouldn't stay there unless it were free. 70m away is the Reverie which is the best hotel in VN. 1000% luxury and amazing service for only a few dollars more. Check into it and you will see this video is clickbait.
haha is that Christmas flavored Haterade? I filmed this earlier in his trip but didn't want to upload it until towards the end of the content I filmed with him
Clickbait. When you said Majestic as your "best hotel in Saigon" I turned off the video. The Majestic is a gov-owned and run dump. It's like a poorly kept museum. They have not renovated it in decades if ever. It's terrible. Best hotel? Stop being dishonest. The Reverie is the best hotel and the Majestic isn't even in the top 50 in Saigon. Nicest Hotel in Saigon? Wow. This is fraud. Just stop it.
Well Merry Christmas to you 2 Mr. Millionaire. For most people that is a very nice hotel for $275. I agreed that the furniture is a bit old. Hotel with lots of history. There is no clickbait here, you’re just being a hotel snob.😂😂
@@ThuyLe-bd3id You are clueless. You clearly dont know the hotel pricing in SE Asia. $275 will get to an amazing hotel in Bangkok. And $75 more will get you a night at the Reverie or Park Hyatt which are 100x better. Majestic is worth maybe $70/night and only because of the location. Otherwise, total dump.
Super nice. Really classy.
Very nice hotel even at $375 a night. That's luxurious
yeah it was really nice

It is magnificent. I stayed there in 2007 and I really loved that. I never forget that.
Hola to the Bentleys,
Ty for Majestic tour, looks quite nice, living in luxurious,
Enjoy the rest of day in sunny Saigon 🤚✌️
cheers man!
Thanks for sharing 👍beautiful place for sure. The wood floor looks amazing 👌👍
yeah it was a really cool room!
I remember walking past this place at the end of 1997. It looked really run down. It looks beautiful now.
interesting...I'm glad they've renovated it
Looks like a great place to stay when I visit Saigon!!
Definitely!
Hello, this place was packed with history, where high profile military officers were frequenting, and was a high value target for sabotage.
love that...love historical buildings
That one of Luxury Hotel 🏨 in Saigon.., so very beautiful Hotel 🏨…👍🥰😘
Nice tour. $170 for the standard room is not bad with still a nice view. The upgrade Suite would be good for a big family but that shower is kind of wimpy.
I agree the shower was underwhelming

Merry Christmas to you and to your family dear 🎄🤗🥰’
thank you. Merry Christmas!
It seems like it would have been wonderful in the 1920s, when Saigon was a bit…sleepier. It’s still a gorgeous building but right on the busy corner makes it not so nice for chilling…the traffic roar is ubiquitous
Yeah it would have been really neat to see it in the 1920s
Nice room, just $170? In North America that just gives you a 2* hotel?
stark price differences
Almost an alley exploration within a hotel!
Amazing view
for sure
Every time I go to HCMC I go to the M Bar, but I haven't gone so far this trip so thanks for the timely vlog so I will go this week before leaving the city.
What's on the agenda for Christmas Day?
well christmas eve and technically early Christmas day it's hanging out with friends and watching NFL football
nice hotel. I might stay here when I visit. But not the $275 room, that's a little over my budget.
What is the suite called?

interesting I didn't know that
$170 will get you an average room at La Quinta in the States…
"But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night..."
LaQuinta is much better trust me. Majestic is a dump.

That Saigon Riverside Hotel still doesn't look very nice today either
*_Xin chào Big Time Bentley_* !
chao
😂good
😎👍
cheers bro
Is it a child’s toilet? LOL!
hahaha

Majestic, Caravelle, Rex has the history the Reverie doesn't. That's what some people pay for.
Reverie Suit is 10 times more expensive than Majestic Suite.
man how old is that video you dad been gone . you been lazy

Ha Noi is richer than Saigon
