C'mon Volkswagen... Far too pricey for the majority of people, too many hard internal surfaces and considering VW's long term history of unreliability I'd wait for a Japanese made alternative. Design is subjective and there's nothing offensive going on here, it's quite modern and contemporary I think. Looking forward to Mitsubishi's all new generation of the very popular with a cult following, DELICA van/ people mover / all terrain vehicle.
@@CarSauce I’m earning over 200k a year and I can’t afford a 90k base spec e-kombi, and if you are being honest, neither can you. Dreams are often a happy place, but sadly we live in reality, and 110k for an electric delivery van is an absolute f’ing joke mate. I know you have to brown nose to car companies to keep on the press junket, but come on.
It cost too much , The three taxes and the dealer delivery scam price the dealers are getting away with make the taxes paid on Australian cars the highest in the world next to Singapores car taxes.
Have you checked out the configs available on VW AU site you can’t configure the SEX spec ID Buzz. Was gonna buy one but the funky interior is not available on OZ! Sort this shit out
Here in the US, VW has really screwed up with the price, failing to qualify for a government tax credit for EVs, and finally...the absolutely terrible interior colors we get here. We don't get these cool interiors that match the exterior colors with the muted palette seat colors. No, We either get White and orange, bright hideous orange, or burgundy brown interiors.🤮 So let's say you pick a blue exterior, from inside, you will see the inner edge of your blue door frames against a rust orange and white interior. just awful.
So VW are price gouging customers on nostalgia. This minivan is $25k too expensive, and 600 kg too heavy, straight up. But people are idiots so it will probably sell like hot cakes.
Looking at the Zeekr Mix then looking at this thing, no wonder VW is in trouble. Definitelyi going the way of Kodak and Nokia at the rate they are going.
Just don't buy one untill all the new tech from the ID7 is implemented on the overhyped ID Buzz as well...just a thought. The ID7 is the first proper EV from Volkswagen.
Revolutionary i think Not, Its not selling No one can afford them, Production is running down and VW are shutting down 3 plants due to the Demand for EVs being nonexistent. Hype all you want EVs are finished ✅.
The best AU car channel at the moment 🎉
Matt you’re literally in a different country for each video you put out. Living it
Let me know when the $35k version hits US shores.

I do like it but the price is frightening, even the basic delivery van is over $80k, which makes me weep.
It's a great car but those prices are insane. Over 100K for a f'ing e-kombi?
Yeah. Nah.
Agree. Everything seems good except too expensive.
GTX would not be my pick, I'd go 5-seat RWD and be very happy there :D

Wow! An $87k hatch with massive storage, scratchy plastics, no clever seating arrangements and cliche styling. Winner.😂😂😂
People pay that for a diesel Ute with a 20 year old Lion V6 diesel, solid chassis and leaf springs.
@@glennO-e9r yeah but people are incredibly stupid.
@@glennO-e9r Yes but most people are very silly. Just watch commercial TV for 30 secs. Zombies.
Well, then better don’t buy it.
were you in hurry when you did this Video. Just wondering? or just to much Coffee.
Oh wow! Finally a new video that isn't a Chinese or Indian car that I've never heard of!
Yep. And it's only $110k with scratchy plastics, basic fit out and from a brand with dubious quality. Winner!
Yup and it bloody rubbish. Combi van for 92k.

No No No. Kia Carnival will outsell it 10 to 1.
@@twinrotors At that pricing I hope it does. VW price gouging the living F out of Kombi fans.

It's nice but the driver is sat so far back that you lose a row of seats in the shorter wheel base while being the same length as other 7-8 seaters
Kia EV is much better and is actually cheaper in Canada
No chance! So many better options especially at that price. This gets two thumbsdown 👎👎
