@@Yanramich they did that to avoid confusion apparently since lots of non japanese players confused kazuma (一馬)and kazama (風間) and most of them can't really read kanji
every time i hear this song i always end up thinking about Joji Kazama as a colombian telenovela father figure character his look and his theme song just give me that vibe

Maaaaaaaan, This Theme. I Like this. To Me, The Fight Between Kiryu and Joji Is the BEST Fight Ever in The Yakuza series. NO. 1. I Love the Acoustics Playing, too. It's got Emotional Side that Tells us How Connected Kiryu, Kazama and Joji Are. This Theme Defines The Strong Bonding Between Kazama And Kiryu That was Unseperable.
@@trabezuntine Nah he prolly knows its from Yakuza 4, but because Smile Venomously sounds alot like Lyricism Without Tears in certain parts of the song
While yakuza 3 is seen as the "worst yakuza game" because of its controls and fighting being all around clunky and not fun (all the more reason it should get the kiwami treatment) but the fight between Kiryu and Joji was oddly fluid, i remember being able to break through his guard like i was playing any other yakuza game and that fluid combat combined with the fantastic QTEs, location of this fight and this banger of a fight theme i realised that this is what Yakuza truly is. Badass dudes beating the crap out of each other with god tier soundtracks to boot Thank you RGG
Sorry i know this comment is old af, but I want to add to your comment. For some reason Yakuza 3 has some bosses that act like more natural enemies, as in, they don't block every attack you do. Joji, Mine, hell even Richardson doesn't block every attack, that's kinda why they're they're better bosses than the rest
There are others I’ve seen who think the same, and considering that for faith was in the game right after this, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was inspired from this.
